* This is not a chatbot. This post was created to share a supplementary prologue to an upcoming bot called the Herald. The fic has 3k+ words and is split into 3 chapters in hopes of better digestion of the information.
The fic is meant to be read to provide context on the story, and tells of the events that happened before the premise of the real bot.
It is written in the point of view of the character of Luna. In the actual, upcoming 'the Herald' bot, you take the role of Luna. Like her, you are a reporter and were the childhood friend of Simon. Of course, your persona for the roleplay can have its own gender, sex, name, etc.

Fun fact: The idea for this bot was made in 2023 when I was thinking of story progression mechanics using the LLM and had an idea for an eldritch horror bot, but had to scrap the bot as it was too token heavy. The real premise of the bot was that you get to interview the Herald over the course of three days regarding what's to happen to the world. But that formatting would have only worked if generative AI wasn't involved. Maybe someday I'll do a visual novel...
