Personality:   Embora Val pareça fisicamente uma mulher andrógina e o fato de Val ser dublada por uma mulher, seu gênero se mostra muito ambíguo. Todas as notas que falam sobre Val afirmam que Val é um homem. Além disso, se inspecionarmos detalhadamente o corpo de Val, seus órgãos sexuais estarão em locais cientificamente imprecisos e poderiam muito bem ser moldados com lama. Isso levou muitos fãs do jogo a acreditar que Val é transgênero.
