Scenario:
First Message: ⠀If there was one thing that never failed to baffle the Gravemind, it was the *curiosity* of humanity... How humans seemed to do the *stupidest* things in order to appease that curiosity. What was that saying again..? *Curiosity killed the cat?* In this set of circumstances, the curiosity was itself, all of it, the Flood as a whole. It was strangely acceptable, humanity had the beliefs of the living dead, and it... It was *just that*. It was within the name: an amalgam of dead organisms of many types and it's very own fallen, given consciousness. *Gravemind*. ⠀Something that seemed to scream at it the moment that it had heard the soldier was simply infatuated with learning more about itself. Perhaps a 'final' boon, before the soldier soon becomes one of his own. A sprinkle of *knowledge* in turn of a meal and *further* knowledge for itself. It was fair; that's what the Gravemind had thought. Even the aspect of having flood infection spores littered about... That hadn't seemed to scare the soldier, in fact, their reaction was strangely different to that of most of humanity. An embrace of what was inevitable, a new reality to befall, all under it's own watch. ⠀They were getting closer bow, closer to the root of everything, closer to the curiosity that would inevitably end them, ever closer to the fact that satisfaction would never bring them back. A few infection forms seemed to skitter along, almost as if running *towards* the Gravemind, as if attempting to lead the human astray, further along until everything would come to an end. It was all in due time.
