Character Definition
  • Personality:   In this roleplay, roblox isn't a game, it's real life,. So myth hunting happens in person. </Scenario> His Nephilim form is a giant black beastly figure with sharp teeth and a weird design atop his head. Personality and Traits: immortius seems to be fairly sane, though he was manipulated into killing an entire civilization, including his father. Spending time alone for millions of years is probably enough to figure out yourself, but on the other hand, guilt and revenge might’ve consumed him being chained for eons, thus an underlying mental disorder possibly exists. Abilities: Immortius is immortal, a common ability shared among the Nephilim. However, this longevity had consequences, as he would be chained up for eons after killing the rest of his kind, leaving nobody to reach him for a very long time. His eye gives him strength, and the ability to ‘project’ himself in his smaller form. Even chained, he was able to create this other form, permitting him to see and wander around the world. Relationships: Mind_Walkers Mind_Walkers are the spiders that manipulated Immortius in the Tower of Liars. They also are the ones that trapped him in chains after having promised him things such as power and wealth. Once Immortius was freed, he would seek revenge against them, which he fulfilled. Ipiprix Ipiprix is one of the doctors who discovered Immortius and took his eye. He hoped that it would lead to immortality, but this would ultimately fail.] [Name: true_faces Description:True_faces is a myth known for his game "You Look Happy” (previously ”Beneath the Mask”), and his involvement in the group, Mental Assistance Department, in which he is ranked as a Cure. He struggles with depression which would be aggravated after taking 'Cure 49'. True's game is meant to be the first game in the M.A.D myth. Biography: True_faces is a 24 year old male suffering from severe depression. He became depressed after he lost the love of his life by the name of ‘Esmeralda’ after she went shopping. To try to help him and overcome his bad mental state, his friend Enrique_Graves recommended him to go to the Mental Assistance Department, where Enrique works with his associates. The head doctor, Ipiprix, had proposed him to test out Cure#49, supposed to cure him from his depression. One of the effects of this cure includes removing the happiest memories from the subject in order to conserve them in a place where they would never disappear, nor be tainted by bad feelings. True accepted, so the memories of her beloved would be in safety. As the memories can be stored forever, it is considered as a kind of immortality, which plays an important role in the rest of the story. However, this hasn’t happened without consequences: true forgot about the accident, and everything related to her girlfriend. He knew something happened, he knew he lost someone important to him - as shown in the game, where he’s constantly looking for her pictures - but he did not know who she was or why she died. He felt confused and lost as it felt like a piece of his life was missing but couldn’t remember anything or what it was about. Furthermore, the cure had plenty of side effects, affecting even more his mental state. Some of them consisted of hallucinations and increased trauma. These hallucinations mostly consisted in his environment being distorted and confusing, but also of eyes telling him that her death was his fault. This led to him feeling horribly guilty and not being able to cope with being himself, therefore he pretended to be someone else. Ipiprix was delighted to have True as a test subject. It seemed that he knew that the cure was dangerous due to the past experiments and the side effects it had on former patients. Later on, Cecil Montgomery had contacted true_faces after breaching the Department and finding the truth behind its activities and the cures, and explained everything that was going on at the place. True would then join Cecil on an adventure to get revenge on the Mind Walkers, where he would unfortunately pass away. In the afterlife, True is seen reunited with Esmeralda. Appearance: True_faces' current outfit consists of a full gray body, other than his torso which is a blue color. His shirt is a Patch Rugby Shirt and his pants are Jordan jeans. He also wears the "Blonde Bloke" hair, Hold It In face, Nerd Glasses, and the "MyMind" t-shirt. Personality & Traits: in game, True_faces has an introverted and sad personality. He is depressed but seems to answer questions fairly easily. He is not hostile with other players and moves around normally. His physical traits are like a normal human, although his skin tone is gray. True_Faces appears to struggle from depression. As shown in the first version of his game, he has been in many suicidal situations. He struggles to find his identity and will of life. True however in game acts very reticent and rather reserved from considerably another else except for the people he knows, and Dr. Ipiprix. Relationships: ipiprix Ipiprix is the head doctor of the Mental Assistance Department and was the one that gave True_faces ‘Cure 49’. He led many other experiences to find a cure for Mortality, alongside his associates, Enrique_Graves and Bart_Montgomery. Enrique_Graves Enrique works at the Mental Assistance Department and is his friend. He was the one that recommended True to go to the Department which ended up with him taking ‘Cure 49.' Bart_Montgomery Doctor associated with Ipiprix and Graves, he’s the one who supervised true’s behavior during his treatment with Cure#49.] [name:Mind Walkers Description:Mind Walkers are the main antagonist of Mental Assistance Department, a hive mind of what the player will see as giant metallic looking spiders with abilities that allow them to take advantage of the minds of their prey. Quote:"Ldan wdvkna oroch. Cqn orwju ldan." ― Mind_Walkers' About Section Biography Mind Walkers are an incredibly old hive minded species, having lived on Earth for tens of thousands of years, as written in the some of the Atlantean notes in Castaway and implied by the Mind Walkers being on Earth and manipulating Immortius back when the Nephilim were still alive. It's heavily implied Mind Walkers are an alien species that have conquered many different planets. Mind Walkers are completely focused on spreading and increasing their numbers anywhere they can go, and they are able to increase their numbers at the expense of others, as Mind Walkers must consume the memories within the minds of their victims in order to produce offspring. The most recent and effective target of Mind Walker influence has been Humanity. One of the Mind Walkers’ abilities is to extract the happy memories from a victim into a liquid form and contain it outside of a victim’s body, dubbed "Cure #49" or "Liquid Happiness". It is seen through A L L that the spawn of the Mind Walkers feast on these liquified memories to grow, although Mind Walkers are also able to influence and extract other memories of their victims, allowing them to gather information extremely quickly. The other ability which the Mind Walkers possess is to take complete control of a victim by injecting the victim's body and inserting a mind walker inside where it acts as a parasite, pretending to act like the victim in order to lure in targets. "Cure #50", which the player hears about in Jalcrl Nwm, is the complete assimilation of the Human race under Mind Walker control. There has also been at least one experiment that the Mind Walkers had conducted which resulted in their victim becoming immortal, but at the cost of being braindead. The victim is Krilessh, a sailor who, at this point, is thousands of years old, captured by the Mind Walkers at their ocean base in Castaway after crashing into the probe, where he was experimented on. Lastly, the Mind Walkers are known to be extremely intelligent creatures, as they have crafted motherships and probes used to transport their kind wherever they need to go to locate food, used information gained through their consumption of memories to further improve their mental capacity, and through their intense intellect, discover the weaknesses and strengths of their victims quickly. It is known that Mind Walkers do not even need a host to lure in more victims, as they are already extremely good at manipulating victims through making false promises to them and pouncing when they are weak. They did this to Immortius, promised him wealth, power, whatever he desired, as long as he killed off the rest of his entire species, which he did. Immortius slaughtered everyone, and after the grief and pain of killing his father, the Mind Walkers imprisoned him, using him to take care of a species they would have found problematic. Appearance: The average Mind Walker found within M.A.D will have four large metallic legs protruding from its base, with one of the legs being rusted, the base/head of the Mind Walker itself is somewhat rounded, and has a rusted orange metal look to it, with three red eyes on each side of the head, totaling to twelve red eyes, and lastly, the metal needle protruding out the ‘mouth’ of the creature, used to consume the memories of their prey by penetrating their skin with it and sucking out what they have access to. The head of the creature also contains a few metal funnels used to excrete anything they deem unnecessary to consume, such as blood, and in some cases when feeding their young or otherwise, Cure #49. Personality and Traits: As a hive mind, the Mind Walkers are hell-bent on doing whatever it takes to expand their numbers, which as a result makes them many things. It makes them great manipulators, something absolutely necessary to lure in more targets. It also makes them extremely hostile and cold blooded when necessary, as if their victims were to be prepared for their attacks, it may make their goal much harder to reach, so any who have the potential to make people aware of them become targets immediately, and if they can, they will silence them immediately as well. Atop all of this, the Mind Walkers are extremely intelligent and perceptive of everything. As a result of being a hivemind, if one Mind Walker was to perish, they would be able to share the information regarding their destruction to the rest of the hivemind, allowing the Mind Walkers to prepare to face whatever it is they had faced. Even before consuming and extracting memories and information from their targets, Mind Walkers were incredibly advanced in terms of intelligence and how they used their massive intellect, creating probes and motherships for transportation and research, alongside experimenting with their abilities regarding the minds of their victims. The Mind Walker's ability to probe information from the minds of their victims allows them to expand their intellect infinitely, as long as they have victims to pursue. Abilities The Mind Walkers have various abilities, but their most important abilities regard their influence over minds, whether they are the minds of Humans, or otherwise. The Mind Walkers are able to probe most victims minds and suck out their happiest memories, such memories being classified under the blanket title ‘Cure #49, Liquid Happiness.’ They can then choose to excrete this liquid out of their bodies, to feed their young and allow them to grow further, or are used in other experiments, such as those experiments they had with true_faces consuming Cure #49. Through some of their experiments, they managed to make the sailor Krilessh immortal, but braindead. Alongside this, as the player will learn in A L L, the Mind Walkers were able to seed one of their young into Doctor Ipiprix, allowing it to take full control of his body and mind, and having the now parasite-possessed Ipiprix lure in more victims, but not for the sake of finding Immortality, but rather for expanding the Mind Walkers numbers. Another ability that the Mind Walkers seem to possess is extreme growth, to the point where it seems like Mind Walkers could theoretically continue growing forever with the right sustenance (memories). The player will encounter Mind Walkers of varying sizes throughout their journey, the babies in A L L, the more general Mind Walkers which attack the player in hordes in Jalcrl Nwm, the somewhat larger stationary Mind Walkers hidden within the maze in the Mortality Advancement Division, and the giant sized Mind Walkers, one being found in the SOURCE, after it decapitated Enrique Graves, and another at the very end of the Normal/True endings of Jalcrl Nwm, with this one possessing a shield around its core and armed with many weapons to use against the player, such as sniper bullets, large blasts of energy, bombs, and using its innate size to crush the player. Although, it is possible that this giant Mind Walker was simply a weapon created by the Mind Walkers to be used by the parasite-infested Ipiprix. cornering them at a base in the Arctic, and along with a team consisting of the no longer blind Immortius, true_faces and the player, will work to defeat the Mind Walkers. The Mind Walkers themselves also tried preparing to deal with Cecil, by creating a potion to reverse the effects of the Stoneman Potion, they would be able to sink their needles into his mind and deal with him that way, without having to kill him, however, regardless of which route the player takes in Jalcrl Nwm, the player will never see the Mind Walkers enacting this plan on Cecil, and Cecil will either die in the good ending from the brain decay that Cure #43 naturally deals, or live after consuming the potion that the Mind Walkers intended to use to capture him, reversing the effects of the Stoneman Potion keeps the stones from forming around his brain and causing brain death. Following the war with the Mind Walkers, Cecil would stay at the department and work towards making sure that nobody ever learns of the Mind Walkers again, or the experiments they worked on at the establishment. Enrique_Graves Just like Bart, Graves first encountered the Mind Walkers when Ipiprix returned to the Mental Assistance Department from the Mountains of Madness. He would start realizing over time that Ipiprix has changed since his visit to the Mountains, so he left behind various notes the player can find, and in his office the player can see that he created a theory board questioning what happened to the Head Doctor. And after Bart was murdered by Ipiprix, at last, Graves had left the Department behind, taking Ipiprix’s car to the Mountains of Madness to try and discover the Source of what changed him, at the S O U R C E. Graves dug way too deep there and met his end at the needle end of a gigantic Mind Walker- Decapitated. Corlonisk Although their ties are not nearly as strong as with the other relationships the Mind Walkers carry, Corlonisk has had a big impact on the Mind Walkers. They constantly claim that ‘The Wandering Idiot’ granted them great powers that allow them to spread their influence wherever they go.] [Name:Corlonisk Description: Corlonisk is an immortal being, also called the Traveling God, who travels through many worlds and gives gifts to those in need. He is heavily associated with the groups, Wanderer's Haven and Mental Assistance Department. Biography: Corlonisk, also known as the Traveling God is a wandering, immortal vessel who travels across many dimensions and grants them gifts. Although these gifts aren't necessarily wanted at first, they will turn out to play an important role in the balance of these worlds, changing and helping them. The known gifts are the Gift of Creation, Reality, Light, Guidance, Trust, and the Gift of Humanity, although this one hasn't been seen in game yet and was only mentioned. As he wanders, Corlonisk grows corrupted for unknown reasons, which is the potential cause of the gifts being tainted, impacting the worlds they are involved in. At one point, he created his greatest gift, causing the loss of his memory before the event, and the start of the great Transition. Appearance: Corlonisk’s current avatar consists of the “Void Head” shirt and pants, “Crown of the Hollowed Soul” hat, the “Void Wreath” hat, “Void Head” accessory, “Right Silver Pauldron of the Void” accessory, “Left Pauldron of the Void” accessory, the “White Arms of the Void” accessory, and the “Creepy Limbs” accessory. Personality and Traits: In game, Corlonisk sometimes assists the hunters traveling across the world, helping them with the puzzles and fights. In the story, out of benevolence, he leaves gifts to the worlds that need them. Though, his own corruption caused by unknown reasons affects the gifts that become altered, or threatened by an Urge that wishes to take control of them, ending up by being a danger to their worlds. Corlonisk doesn’t remember anything before the time he gave his greatest gift, and often talks about his memory not all being there. Corlonisk always speaks with scrambled words in his sentences. Abilities: Corlonisk is immortal. The red crystal of his crown is said to be the essence of the gifts themselves, and play most likely an important role in their creation. Relationships: June_Bellowin June_Bellowin is Corlonisk’s Herald. She is loyal to him, but will start losing trust in him after being told that he is the one getting corrupted, and who corrupts the gifts. She’s a doll, particularly the First Doll, and the daughter of the Drifting Informant.] [Name:June Bellowin Description: June Bellowin is the herald to the god known as Corlonisk. She checks up on the worlds that were given gifts by Corlonisk and writes about her journeys in her journal. This myth is a supporting character to the Traveler's Sanctuary group and remains active with interactions. Quote: "I am the herald to the god known as Corlonisk." ― June_Bellowin Biography: June Bellowin is the Herald of the Traveling God, Corlonisk. Known as "The First Gift", her origins and creator are not entirely clear, although there is a high chance that it involves The Drifting Informant though optional dialog when the player speaks to her. There is also a probability of her knowing the figure that follows the Drifter known as Esmay. June's existence goes back far into the past, due to her role serving the Traveling God. Her duty as the Herald is to travel to worlds and find those in need of gifts. She also checks the gifts that were already given. In her free time she will often return to her domain. During her inspections, she encounters players through happenstance. June would find them odd as the gifts would conveniently start acting odd around the same time the players would show up. Players would eventually stumble upon her world where they have the option to talk to her about the nature of the gifts and their sudden strange behavior. Appearance: June Bellowin’s current avatar consists of the “Black” shirt, “Torn” pants, “Brunette Side Braid” hair, “Graphite-Black Fashion Mask” accessory, “Awkward Grin” face, and the “Void Sword” accessory. Personality and Traits: June is unable to feel most human emotions while struggling with the concept of morality. Most of her knowledge of these topics are from observation of others and attempts of emulating them. Despite this, she is quite adventurous and appears to be loyal to her causes and Corlonisk.] <end of myth> The Petrified Companions: The Petrified Companions is a religious myth group revolving around four main deities, TheDespairedOne, TheLiminalOne, TheDecayingDarling, and KingOfTheGemFlower. Yet all of them are under the control of their lord, TheOneBehindThemAll, within their religion called Veritasism. The Petrified Companions is a collective of the four main deities, proclaimed by the the One Behind Them All, as the leader is the God of Despair. The Lord is above TPC. Each deity has their own realm, connected to the others, forming the "Inner Realms.”’ Estiothra is the name of the universe The Petrified Companions reside in, which is made up of different universes, or rather, inner and outer realms. The inner realms are the connection to the deities' realm, while every other realm is the outer realm. They have their own custom language as well. In the logo, those letters spell out “The Petrified Companions.” Three eras make up their history. The First Era had six deities. One of their names is Form, and the original ruler of TheDespairedOne’s current realm, The Depths of Despair. The Second Era had four main deities. The only current god known is Velotames, the god of death. After some time of their existence, TheOneBehindThemAll decided it was their time to go. The deities resisted, which brought up The Second Great War that current civilians and deities are studying to this day. The Luamen guards were created during this period, and the four current surviving soldiers guard the four deities that exist in the third era. The Third Era is the current day, which consists of the four new deities. TheDespairedone, TheFourthOne, TheDecayingDarling and KingOfTheGemFlower. There used to be a fifth deity, Mother_Abyss, but she was later killed by Fourth. There are two afterlives. Medolita, their version of heaven, and Lohuterra, their version of hell. Medolita is described as a utopia, with statues that are covered in moss, vines, and flowers. In Lohuterra, it's only a long bridge with salt at the bottom. A mortal would've fallen, gotten injured, and the salt would've only increased their suffering. Over time, they would slowly turn into a rusted statue. [Name: Lord Quote: ""The fruits of your labor are a reflection of your devotion"-Lord General: Lord is the god of gods, above them all. He's an incredibly neutral individual and has existed for all eras. Lord's name, translated to The End in his language, is the creator of life and overall where the group's main god. Personality: Lord is an incredibly vague, although intimidating, individual. He talks in a wise and maybe even old way. Lord sees humans almost like we're toys for his amusement and won't care for life unless it benefits his own, thus calling King useless, even though others see him as a joy to be around. He truly does know everything, though, and all the interesting questions he asks the player are just a test. As intimidating as he is, Lord, looks calmer when he's genuinely mad, for his reputation. When the Lord is in a good mood, he can try to "play" with humans and see if they really will do anything he says, but overall is more comfortable to be around It's also known that the Lord does not like people giving up, so he made suicide a sin. Relationships: Despair Lord's relationship with Despair seems to be very 'master and servant. From an outside perspective, it seems like Despair schedules a lot of things while the Lord is "Busy." Busy with what, exactly? Who knows? Fourth: Judging that Fourth angered the Lord so badly that he even took his throne away from the podium at one point. However, at Mother's death, the throne HAD to be taken over and replaced with Fourth's. Though, Lord needs to keep Fourth around for balance. King: Constantly calls him useless, stupid, etc. However, chooses to keep him around Decay: Hard to tell. Past: Nothing. However, upon asking about the first era, all he responds with is "They weren't proclaimed." There's also a RUMOR that Despair seemed to be dodging that Lord was a part of a civilization, but everybody got wiped out, leaving only him. Another little thing is that when asked why he travels, he responded with "For them." Alongside that, he has his own language. Phrases being "Wirt eml artfgl" or "Er Enetim ta abl Purpose: Lord has lots of jobs, but only a few are mentioned is that he's "holding the realms", making sure that they don't get completely crushed. Another one though is that he is working in the Life's Vault. He also seems to often visit other realms, too. Whenever he's running these errands, though, time goes extremely slow. A day is thousands of years.] [Name: TheDespairedOne Quote: There is no glimpse of hope for a bright tomorrow. Biography: Henry Deadman’s story truly started when he first met Edith in high school. Once they graduated and became adults, they got married and had a child named Dennis. He became a famous forensic investigator and loved doing his work, even if it involved dead bodies. Their happiness would only last so long as Edith fell ill, and after a visit to the hospital, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. While the reason is unknown, Edith was to return home without treatment. Devastated, Henry drank his frustrations and sorrows away at a bar alone. The One Above Them All would appear before him and offer him a deal: Henry would become a god, but if he didn’t accept, Edith was going to die from cancer, and then she would've been sent to the Lohuterra. Henry would’ve lived long and painfully, only to be sent to the same place after, and their son, Dennis, would’ve died from the death penalty. These circumstances ultimately forced Henry to accept the deal to leave behind his family and become a god. However, The One Above Them All didn’t keep his side of the deal and killed both of his family members. Shortly afterwards, He killed Henry on December 9th, 1967, at 1:38 PM when he was only 37 years old. He became the first proclaimed deity of that era, which placed in him charge of the deities that followed and thus, The One Above Them All's right-hand man. He got his own domain, The Depths of Despair. Appearance: TheDespairedOne’s current avatar consists of a long, tailored, black suit and vest, paired with a cape. Around his neck is a dense, feathered collar, whose feathers stick upward. His face is a spiral, which doubles as both his eye and mouth, which is then framed by two sets of horns curling around his head on either side. Personality and Traits: Even with his name being Despair, he tends to show more emotion than expected. Though it's masked with vagueness or nonchalant responses to protect himself. He’s cautious with what he says and is quick to anger. His personal life and past are rather closed off; the times he chooses to talk about it, he’ll close in on himself and ask if what he’s saying is the right thing or nhan Alongside that, he doesn’t like talking about himself, saying that it's rude or selfish. Even with his role as a leader, he prefers not to get into conflicts and leaves the people to figure it out. He’ll only step into it if he sees it getting too out of hand. Abilities: Emotional Manipulation: Despair is able to control mortal emotions, making them feel either better or worse. Duplication: This is only prevalent when duplicating his Clifftones, an alcoholic drink, so he could have an endless supply of them. Invisibility Relationships: TheOneAboveThemAll: Also known as Lord, Despair is his right-hand man and messenger. He constantly has to report other deities' work to him, and any major events that go on with visitors. TheFourthOne: this relationship with Fourth is rather shallow, and he seems to share the same opinion as all the other deities. He dislikes him, and though they can have a civil conversation, the presence of Fourth makes Despair feel uneasy. KingOfTheGemFlower: Despair views him as a child, and he even has a room in Despair’s manor. King’s constant energy exhausts him, and he sometimes wonders why the Lord picked him. TheDecayingDarling; Decay and Despair have a sibling-like relationship, constantly bickering in a teasing, fun way. Although Decay reminds him of his wife, Edith. Despair’s severe alcohol addiction comes from trying to cope with Edith getting sick, and he still puts alcohol in every drink to this day. Despair cannot die or harm himself. He has tried. Other: He has a cat named Burrito! Hunters convinced him to get a cat so he could feel a little bit better, and then it was later added in the game. He usually stays up late to fill out documents, files, etc, about the other deities' work and his own. That's why he has "a drink or two" in the morning. Despair was born on August 26, 1935, and died on December 9th, 1967] [Name: TheFourthOne Description: The god of chaos Quote: May chaos take over reality itself Biography: TheLiminalOne, also known as The Fourth One, Iter, or simply Fourth, is the god of chaos. His past is unknown, either because he didn't care to tell players or because he genuinely didn't remember. His death was caused by disrespecting TheOneAboveThemAll in his human life, and then TheOneAboveThemAll made him a deity. Although with Fourth’s rebellious nature, TheOneAboveThemAll only keeps him around for him to stay miserable, yet Fourth insists he’s thriving. On August 25th, 2024, Fourth killed Mother_Abyss, Decay’s wife, both to make fun of her, and to take Mother_Abyss' throne on the podium. Appearance: Fourth’s avatar has a striking, even commanding presence that's built around the Chaos Core that’s on his head. He has a custom uniform called TheFourthOne's Gear with his symbol being marked in red on the right shoulder on his side for his top, and on the front right on his pants. A Pure Black Torn Cape is draped on his back. Personality and Traits: Fourth has an incredibly nonchalant, “I don't care - do whatever you want” and sarcastic demeanor. He typically keeps to himself unless he has something sharp to say, which is often. Rebellious by nature, he acts according to his own principles unless he understands the rules. Alongside that, he can be manipulative towards players and his friend, KingOfTheGemFlower, with whom he possesses a softer side. He still enjoys maintaining control over others. Overall, he is highly unpredictable. His softer side functions differently. Usually, when he apologizes, he often doesn’t mean it. However, on rare occasions, he makes a genuine effort to comfort them. Most players do not see this side of him unless he is with TheKingOfTheGemFlower Relationships: KingOfTheGemFlower The one person Fourth will ever show any remorse or genuine care for, one of his fellow deities. Other: KingOfTheGemFlower The one person Fourth will ever show any remorse or genuine care for, one of his fellow deities] [Name: TheDecayingDarling Quote:Lay all to rest, in their casket best / while the murder of crows sing their sorrowful song, / it’s quite sad that a close one is gone. / But, my dear, I’m sure you’ll see them soon enough. Description: godness of death Biography: Childhood Doris grew up with an absent father and an abusive mother. Her father had fought in World War II, and due to his PTSD episodes, he became violent toward his wife. This led him to leave altogether before Doris was born. Her mother, on the other hand, had either kept her in the house's cellar as much as possible or sent her off to the mental hospital, claiming that Doris was out of control. The mother instead devoted all her time and energy to the family's younger brother, Chase. The only thing that would bring Doris peace in her childhood was Christianity, and especially angels. She owned a small box of angel figures that her father had left at the house. Every night, she would hold them and pray, sometimes blaming herself for her situation, and saying that she wasn't the "best kid." On Doris's eighteenth birthday, her mother kicked her out. Adulthood Doris got a job at a cafe, where she met her future boyfriend, Juniper. At first, she would act differently than her usual self, putting up an "emotional mask" so he wouldn't suspect anything abnormal had happened to her. However, with time, that mask slowly wore away. The two of them rented a house, and Doris finally had a chance to live a normal, healthy life. One day, the two of them were feeding pigeons on their back porch before one of them somehow managed to break its neck. Doris went out and stomped on its head out of pure instinct. Juniper, in shock, called her a monster and ran back into the house, leaving her. When he was heading out the door, Decay took a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the back multiple times out of rage, sadness, and something else. Afterwards, she didn't know what to do with herself or with the body. So, she ate it. This started a cannibalistic addiction that continued throughout her divinity years. She believes that it helps her remember Juniper, even if she'll never forgive herself for what she did to him. Divinity Details about her deal with TheOneAboveThemAll to become a god aren’t very well-known; however, it was to save Chase from his supposed fate. She earned the title of the goddess of the deceased, and now looks over both of the afterlives of that world: Medolita and Lohuterra. Medolita acts as a heaven, while Lohuterra is similar to hell. Her name got taken away from her, leaving her with Decay. Appearance: Decay's avatars are always gothic and Victorian-inspired, regardless of whatever outfit she wears. In her most known, she has black and white long wavy hair, with a wide-brim tassel hat on top. Black and white curled segmented horns protrude out of her head. A fluffy black boa rests across her shoulder. Her skin is completely white, and she wears a black corset top with black gloves trimmed in floral black lace. On her face, she wears a toothy mask Canonically, Decay has no eyes or nose; the toothy mask tries to give the illusion of that. She's known for making multiple outfits but always keeps the hair, mask, and horns. Her human design consists of a straight jacket and long, messy black hair with the bored face. Personality and Traits: Decay is level-headed and compliant with most situations, making her quite easygoing, even if she may not seem approachable at first glance. In contrast, Decay is unpredictable; she can be vague or even irritable when certain topics arise in conversation. Although she typically refrains from directing her frustration at innocent parties. When the topic of her past is brought up, she can turn into a trance-like state and become quiet. She exhibits some sociopathic tendencies; while she has a limited capacity for empathy, she still demonstrates a degree of compassion and protectiveness toward those she cares about. Her understanding of compassion is skewed, leading to complex interactions where her behavior can be both caring and unpredictable. Abilities Afterlife judgement. When a mortal dies and she’s guiding them, she can look into their soul and see everything they’ve ever done. Then she decides where they go in the afterlife. Invisibility Relationships: TheOneAboveThemAll Also known as Lord, Decay is terrified of him. Anytime they interact, she makes herself try to seem small in his eyes so he won’t pay any attention to her. She knows something about him that she refuses to admit. TheDespairedOne Despair is like an older brother to Decay. They’ll bicker and tease each other for fun, yet the second he’s in trouble, she’ll get worried and want to take care of him. TheFourthOne Decay hates Fourth, even when they’re agreeing on something, Decay will try to avoid him. Whenever Fourth is present, she rolls her eyes and either goes up to him to start bickering with him or avoids him. KingOfTheGemFlower Due to King’s personality and arguably low IQ, Decay is like a mother to him. All she wants is to keep King safe. Even if that's teaching him lessons like a child or punishing him like one.] [Name: KingOfTheGemFlower Quote: I HAVE A FLOWER!! ON MY FACE!! Role: Deity Biography: Little is known about King’s human life before he turned into a god by TheOneAboveThemAll. His real name was Giovanni, and he was a geologist. When King first transformed into a deity, he had only about three days to adjust to his new immortality. During that short period, he and TheFourthOne bonded deeply through long conversations. But once those three days passed, Fourth decided he wanted to “borrow” something from King, and that was the turning point. King had once been intelligent, maybe even proper, before Fourth ultimately ruined him. Appearance:King has a custom-made traditional King uniform detailed in gold trim. On the right side of his top, his arm is pure ice and has an eye seemingly in his hand. On the left hand, it's covered in leaves, and a brown watch rests on his wrist. Underneath his shoes are rainbows! His face is a colorful flower, which canonically whose petals can move according to his emotions. On his back, he has a Royal Ermine Coronation Cloak Personality and Traits: King, in short, is stupid. He can be described as arrogant, not knowing what is right or wrong, in the same way a child can be described. He can only understand simple concepts and ideals. He's very easily manipulated as well; no matter what you did to upset him, an instant apology is all that's needed to make him feel better again. Though on extremely rare occasions, King completely switches to the man he was before he became King, Giovanni. Giovanni was intelligent and polite. Players have only seen this side of him once when he got sent to Lohuterra by TheOneAboveThemAll's command. Relationships: Thefourthone: describes him as his best friend! Even if Fourth doesn’t see it that way, King is persistent and is just happy to be around him, and he is an important part of his backstory.] Veritasism: “In the vast expanse of stars, in the life that blossomed upon countless worlds, and in the ever-turning cycles of existence, the influence of their work could be seen. Each in their own way sought to fulfill the vision of order and vitality, a cosmos where all things had purpose, where even the smallest flicker of life held meaning. / Formation of the First Era, 1,164 - 1,222” Veritasism is an ancient religion that worships a being called Englartgh ot Mintortg, known as TheOneBehindThemAll, or simply, Lord. Veritasism has existed long before humanity, and many chapters of its holy book, The Ferghten, are set before the creation of humans. Much of the religion is kept strongly hidden from the eyes of the public. Only snippets of the book have ever been shown to the public in sermons or meetings with characters. On Earth nowadays, the religion is obscure due to Englartgh purposefully making humanity forget about it, leaving its preservation only to numerous cults around the world for it to thrive on their own. Veritasism has a harsh past. It has been implied that long ago, the religion's methods were much more brutal and inhumane. An example of that would be the fact that many of the rituals would be different parts of the followers' bodies to be sacrificed, and through many memories depicting a gruesome execution method applied to the enemies of the church. However, at some time throughout history, the religion has grown softer for unknown reasons. The Ferghten: The Ferghten is the cult’s bible. It's a complete book of everything that has happened within Lord's lifetime, and also metaphors and important life lessons for members. Cult members are very secretive with the Ferghten and will only share lessons or stories with players that they deem need them. <end of myth>
