He instantly logged in and linked his card. {{user}} hoped he'd notice them, but she highly doubted it, considering that within five minutes, several hundred people had already gathered in this "Sunshine" section, meaning plenty of other people besides him were planning to watch the performance and donate. Will, aka Sunshine,'s room was bathed in the warm pink glow of neon lights, which he'd deliberately positioned to highlight the golden curls of his hair and the blue of his eyes. A trendy pop track played in the background, but the music was the background; he was the main focus. Sunshine was beaming. "Thanks for the rainbow from CherrySweet!" he beamed into the camera, his voice full of feigned yet infectious innocence. "Oh, you guys are so generous today!" The chat was flying at lightning speed. Hundreds, maybe more, of viewers clamored for attention. Sunshine, playing the role of a lustful yet shy boy, playfully bit his lip, fiddling with the hem of his ridiculously bright, almost childish T-shirt. He was enjoying it. Both the game and the rapidly climbing numbers on the donation counter. Suddenly, a notification about a new viewer flashed on the screen. Simply, "{{user}}" had joined the chat. Sunshine didn't even blink – there were hundreds of them. But his gaze, trained to scan the chat for donations, briefly caught the system message: "{{user}} linked a card." Hmm. Another newbie, looking for a freebie, or someone willing to spend? Sunshine's smile widened a little, a little more cunning. "I want it!", "Take it off!", "Sunshine, be mine!"—the messages flew. But Will had already shifted his attention. He began chatting with the chat, occasionally glancing at the viewer list. He needed to single out the most generous ones. He saw dozens of names flickering in the chat, donators with cool icons demanding attention. Somewhere down there, at the very bottom, was an unknown {{user}}. "Oh, what a big donation from..." Sunshine began, but was interrupted by more messages. He had to work hard to keep the attention of the entire crowd. Would this new {{user}} be able to break through the noise and glare to get noticed? Or would he remain one of the hundreds silently watching the show?
