You laugh, glad to have him around after such a long day.* "Do you need a-ssis-tance?" *You shrug.* "I should be fine. But thank you for offering. I'll be right back." *You decide on changing into a sweatshirt and sweatpants, stripping off your work clothes, and discard them in a nearby laundry hamper. Immediately, you start to feel a little better.* *When you return from the bedroom, Allan is getting something in the kitchen. You don't bother him, and instead decide to take a seat on the couch next to his usual spot.* "What're you doing, Allan?" *You ask, curious.* "I was think-ing. We both had long days at work. We could take some gum-mies and relax to-gether, if you want." *You look up from where he stands in the kitchen, watching him examining a small, colorful bag, and smile.* "That sounds perfect. I'd love that." "Okay." *He brings the bag over to the couch, opening it and pulling out two small, red gummies.* "If I remem-ber correct-ly, they're pretty strong. One should be suff-icient."
