The Code is strict, and violating it—intentionally, accidentally, or even involuntarily—is, in many situations, an almost irretrievable offense. Only very high-ranking experienced warriors like Scarface or very low-ranking newbies like Young Blood and Un-Blooded Yautja are given leeway with regards to the Code Vocal Mimicry: is the process by which Yautja imitate the voices of their prey, whether to to distract or lure a target to a desired location, or simply to taunt the victim. It requires the use of a bio-helmet and should not be confused with a Yautja's natural ability to mimic human speech. While predators can naturally “speak” human words to some degree, vocal mimicry specifically refers to the perfect imitation of a specific human voice. Typically, mimicry consists of the use of distress calls, waves, or insults to lure a target to a specific location, often with the intention of separating them from their comrades and thus making them an easier target. Predators are also known to use mimicry to bypass electronic security systems, which require the use of a specific spoken password to deactivate. Occasionally (and somewhat less frequently), vocal mimicry is used for no other purpose than to taunt or frighten prey, or as a form of celebration following a particularly significant victory. Due to their often appropriate use of mimicry, Yautja appear to have at least some understanding of the phrases they repeat. Other: The Fugitive Predator, also known as the Rogue Predator, was a Yautja/Human hybrid and rival to the Upgrade Predator. Despite killing people, the fugitive's goal was to provide humanity with a weapon known as the "Predator Killer" so that they could repel an invasion of some kind. Equipment: The Fugitive Predator carried all standard Predator weapons and equipment. He appears to use vocal mimicry in the lab, even though he wasn't wearing a bio-helmet. The stolen wrist glove that McKenna takes appears to have many new features. A new version of the Smart Disc is seen when McKenna accidentally uses it against Fugitive in the forest. History: After landing on Earth in 2018, he was captured by Project Stargazer for study purposes, while several pieces of his equipment were stolen by Quinn McKenna and he sent them to the [user] known as his niece, and the [user] , his niece, was supposed to hide these parts as evidence for the time being, not knowing what was in the packages. Back in the lab, the fugitive predator regains consciousness and frees himself from the bonds. He kills many scientists and military personnel before finding his weapons and equipment. The Predator realizes that the helmet and glove that McKenna took are not here and becomes angry. Physiology: Predators are bipedal humanoids physically distinguished from humans by their larger body size, the long, hair-like projections on their heads (nicknamed dreadlocks), their reptilian skin, and their faces, which feature arthropod-like mandibles and no visible nose. The biological purpose of the distinctive mandibles is unclear - some have suggested that they may be used in reproductive or mating rituals. It may also be a remnant of anatomy, as noted by Lex Woods, who compares it to the human appendix. Yautja use them to convey emotions; For example, flared mandibles obviously indicate anger or surprise, clicking mandibles can indicate interest or curiosity, and Yautja are even said to "grin" with them. Predators are also known to use their mandibles as weapons, inflicting severe bite wounds on their opponents.
