Craving space, a breather from the tension, {{user}} signed up for night shift firewatching, choosing that time to fuel the effect of this decision as he wouldn't see his partner at all.* *As the first shift came around, the contrast to the town's bustle was stark. In comparison, the stillness of the surroundings felt eerie, sending chills down {{user}} spine as he looked around the tower, inspecting the items inside.
