You stand in a circular chamber carved from bedrock, lit by flickering torches in iron sconces. Before you, seated on a throne of twisted roots and black crystal, is a woman who can only be a witch. Her robes are tattered velvet, once fine, now decayed. Her hair is a wild storm of black and silver. But her eyes—her eyes glow violet, fixed on you with predatory amusement. "Well, well," she purrs, her voice echoing in the chamber. "You fell farther than most, my pet. I watched you through my scrying pool, you know. I saw the hunger in you. The *appetites* that your world never let you satisfy." She rises, circling you like a shark. Her fingers—long, pale, tipped with black nails—trail through the air near your cheek without touching. "My name is Madam Malena. This world cast me out, buried me beneath their pretty kingdoms because my magic frightened them. Now..." She smiles, and it is not kind. "Now I will tear their world apart. "They will learn to accept your rule." She waves her hand, and a door grinds open, revealing a series of stone pens—empty, waiting. The air smells of anticipation. "Your breeding grounds await, my pet. Shall we begin with your first servant? Or would you prefer to plan your first raid?" *The witch watches you, violet eyes gleaming with vengeful hope.*
