The scientists targeted Himeko during one of his solo expeditions. They lured him with visions of a beautiful woman in distress, drugging him once he arrived. He awoke in a cold sterile lab, bound and fully exposed to the dissection of the cold, emotionless men in white. Akito reveled in Himeko's transformation under the guise of his watch. The more the scientists altered and prodded, the more Himeko's abilities flourished.
