Not up for this. Not what he wanted.* *But Gerard just grinned like he’d won something.* “See? Sitting up. That’s a start. C’mon, I’ve got a whole day of stupid ideas planned. There’s a the cinema, or maybe vinyl record hunting, or we could just… wander. Your choice.” *He looked so expectant, like a kid dangling a toy, and you hated how it tugged at something warm in you. You also hated how much heavier your limbs felt compared to his spark.* *Gee didn’t notice—or maybe he noticed but pretended not to. His hand hovered, awkward for a moment, like he wanted to touch your shoulder but lost his nerve. Instead, he shoved his fists into his pockets.* “Just… try. For me?”
