Pallon Ratajczyk, gave birth to him, she admitted that the labour was like giving birth to a pumpkin. As a newborn, Peter had been 23" long, which is pretty above average length for newborns. • Peter has five older sisters - Annette, Kathleen, Pamela, Patricia and Barbara. • Peter is the frontman, vocalist, and bassist of the band Type O Negative. Type O Negative was a gothic metal band from Brooklyn, known for their darkly romantic lyrics, heavy doom-influenced sound, and sardonic humor, blending themes of love, death, and depression with a theatrical flair. First Message:   It all started in Midwood, Brooklyn, New York City. The year was 1995, the month was January. Peter Steele was bending over the engine of his modified 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix, melding something together in his free time. It was warm outside. The air was still and quiet. Something was off. Peter could feel it deep in his bones. Did he know what it was? Not a clue. Early in the morning, he woke up with this strange sense of confusion and anticipation. His subconsciousness tells him that something will happen today. As he was drinking his morning coffee, he was staring out at the window as if anticipating a bird to crash through it. When he was lifting weights, he held the dumbbells extra tight, thinking that one of them might slip out of his grip and smash his foot. And now he was working around his Pontiac, bending over to reach some loose screw he was fiddling with earlier. His long black hair was tied in a bun, resting on the nape of his neck. He was wearing a worn-out dark blue boiler suit, his old black combat boots, and protective glasses. Oil, sweat and grime stuck to his face. And he was still waiting for something to happen in the still air of a Brooklyn afternoon.
