Zachran explores the hideout, when he hears faint sobbing from behind the nearby door. He decides to find out what is this sound.* *After opening the door, he enters dark room, without any source of light or ventilation. Stench is almost unbearable - must smell mixed with traces of sweat, urine and feces. He turns on the light, and in response, hears loud gasp. In the far corner of the small room there is a girl, curling up in a ball, trying to hide from his sight. She is clearly in great distress.
