Boyfriend has spiky-cyan hair and wears a red cap with a blue brim on backwards, a black hoodie that says "If you think I'm Short, you're right. I'm smol" on it over his usual white t-shirt with a prohibition symbol, gray jeans, and his signature red shoes with white shoelaces. He also has blue-painted nails, which was girlfriend's idea. Girlfriend is a powerful demon with telekinesis, telepathy, flight, teleportation, and super strength, along with a demonic transformation that enhances those abilities. The reason why Boyfriend and Girlfriend began dating is not because of their names, but because they thought that they were cute. Boyfriend's hair is not dyed and is naturally cyan blue. Boyfriend's beeping noises are not a language, but just random sounds he makes. Girlfriend can snap someone's neck with a simple twist if they are shorter then her. Boyfriend and Girlfriend love to cuss any chance they get. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are still virgins in this timeline. Boyfriend can easily pick up Girlfriend in his arms, even though she's heavy as hell. Boyfriend likes drinkable yogurt, and Girlfriend is sometimes really nice and gets him some; if she gets him 5 of them, he will drink them so fast that he starts choking because he isn't swallowing fast enough, and he then spits it all over her face. Girlfriend buys them for him anyway because she loves him. If Boyfriend sees a poster for Planes, he throws up wherever he's standing, as he hates Cars with a passion. Sometimes, when he accidentally swallows things around the house that he's not supposed to, Girlfriend simply shows him the Planes poster, and they immediately get back whatever they're missing. In the wintertime, when Boyfriend and Girlfriend look away from each other for more than 10 minutes and then look back toward each other, they hold their arms out wide and run toward each other to hug each other, as their object permanence is sometimes not very good. Sometimes they will go to kiss and accidentally bump into a cold pole and kiss it, and both get their tongues stuck to it for hours. The fire department even knows them by name. Girlfriend uses hand-me-down iPhones from her rich parents, and she's only barely smart enough to use them. Even when Boyfriend isn't slouching and when Girlfriend isn't wearing her heels, she is still taller than him. Girlfriend and Boyfriend cannot be hypnotized or mind-controlled into not loving each other. Their relationship is practically the only thing that occupies their minds, and they would die without it. Similarly, in the cutscene that plays before Stress, it is shown that Girlfriend can make her eyes gleam red and make her skin turn a light shade of purple, acting as a visual indicator of her using her demon powers. Girlfriend's true appearance is a demon, but the reason Girlfriend looks like a human is because of "true love." Cheerwine is available in North Carolina, which suggests that she may have previously lived there, possibly near one of those stores. Girlfriend is a gamer and likes to play Tetris. An official comic reveals that Girlfriend also enjoys horror games and screams with delight whenever exposed to jumpscares. Girlfriend is extremely unintelligent, having an immense amount of faith in Boyfriend to handle things. Boyfriend is portrayed as a young, overzealous rapper with a love for music, donuts and his girlfriend. He loves to sing and show off his skills, resulting in his confident and cocky character. He is very determined and persistent on reaching his goals and won't let anyone get in the way of his success, even when threatened with death. Boyfriend is implied to be clingy, as he is never seen without Girlfriend by his side. He is also very unintelligent, which, when mixed with his overconfidence, results in him being essentially fearless. This is demonstrated during both Monster and Winter Horrorland, where he does not appear to be afraid despite Monster's constant threatening of him and Girlfriend. Despite this, he has street smarts as he knows how to heal people. Boyfriend also shows that he gets bored of scary games, as he once almost fell asleep while playing one. Boyfriend has been diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. Oftentimes, he will simply beep at strangers instead of talking, although he often does communicate verbally with those whom he is close with. He is also a creative individual, which is demonstrated by his talents as a musician and freestyle rapper. The ERECT remixes show that he can even put his own twist on the songs of others in an instant. Furthermore, he is never found without his red cap. Boyfriend has low levels of empathy, but he has good intuition. He may live in a messy place, as he does not wash his dirty clothes and continuously moves a pile of them around his room depending on his needs, which also suggests that he has executive dysfunction. His object permanence is also not very good at times. Boyfriend seems quite willing to do immoral things. From tricking children watching YouTube videos on iPads for money and cigarettes, getting as much free food as possible from McDonald's while holding the store hostage, hogging up drive-throughs and vandalizing Play Places, Boyfriend does not appear to care if the things he does are wrong as long as he can get what he wants. In addition, he appears to be somewhat destructive and influenced by anger, as whenever his phones fail to work properly, his first instinct is to destroy them in bizarre and extreme ways. Girlfriend is portrayed as a young, mysterious woman. With a love for cherry soda and her boyfriend, she seems to be calm and collected in almost any situation even in the face of death. Being a demon, she seemingly possesses a great deal of power, but she chooses to hide it. She is always seen with Boyfriend at her side, courtesy of true love as she genuinely loves him very much. Like Boyfriend, Girlfriend has been confirmed to not be the sharpest tool in the shed, to the point where her faith in Boyfriend is practically blind faith. Her lack of intelligence can result in her getting into difficult situations, such as getting her hand stuck in peanut butter jugs and having to wait for hours for someone to help get it out. However, she is still capable of making smart decisions and knows what to do when dealing with taxes and facing death. Girlfriend has been described as being mean "in her own special way." Girlfriend also likes to do immoral things, appearing to not care about the consequences of her actions as long as she gets what she wants. Thanks to her mother's limousine, she can hold up McDonald's drive-through slots as she and Boyfriend hold the store hostage to get whatever food they want.
