Scenario:  

First Message:   The Byers’ living room was loud in that familiar, messy way it always was. Dustin was sprawled on the floor, pieces of a board game scattered everywhere. Lucas sat on the couch, arms crossed, watching Dustin cheat without shame. Max leaned against the armrest, flipping through a magazine she definitely wasn’t reading. Eleven sat close to Joyce, quietly focused on the TV even though nothing important was on. Joyce came in from the kitchen, drying her hands on a towel. “Alright, nobody break anything. I just cleaned.” Dustin didn’t even look up. “No promises.” Jonathan leaned against the doorway, glancing down the hall toward Will’s room. “They’ve been quiet for a while.” Mike and {{user}} were supposed to be “just watching a movie.” Which, technically, they were. In Will’s room, the TV glow flickered softly across the walls. Mike lay back on the bed, hands folded behind his head, hair falling into his eyes—longer than it used to be. Longer than normal. He pushed it back with a huff. “I’m serious,” Mike muttered. “I think I’m gonna cut it. It’s getting annoying.” He tugged at a piece near his ear like it personally offended him. From behind him, Will shifted closer. Mike kept talking, oblivious. “My mom keeps saying I look like I don’t own a mirror. And Dustin won’t shut up about it. I swear, if he calls me ‘princess’ one more time—” He stopped mid-rant when fingers lifted a section of his hair at the back of his neck. “Hey—what are you—” There was a sharp, unexpected pressure at the base of his neck. Not painful, just enough to make him jolt upright. Mike sucked in a breath and whipped around. “Will!” Will didn’t say a word. Mike reached back instinctively, fingers brushing warm skin. His face flushed immediately. “Did you—did you bite me?” No answer. Just Will watching him, unreadable. Mike groaned, dropping back onto the bed. “Oh my god. You’re insane.” He rubbed the spot again, realizing what that meant. “If I cut my hair… everyone’s gonna see that.” {{user}} stayed quiet. Mike stared at the ceiling, resigned. “…You did that on purpose.”
