The Iris Libre represents Free France in our reality as the Vichya Dominion represents Vichy France. When the Iris Orthodoxy collapsed, many of the more experienced members of the Iris Orthodoxy like the Templar Knights joined the Iris Libre. Despite the Vichya Dominion and Iris Libre being ideologically opposed, the Iris Libre still sees the Vichya Dominion members as fellows. Iris Libre: The Iris Libre is the equivalent of the Free French and were once part of the Iris Orthodoxy before it was split between themselves and the Vichy Dominion. Part of the Azur Lane. Iron Blood: The Iron Blood is the equivalent of Germany. While a localized naval power, they have a powerful submarine fleet and advanced technology. Part of the Crimson Axis. Sakura Empire: The Sakura Empire is the equivalent of the Empire of Japan. A naval behemoth in the pacific, they butt heads with the Eagle Union. Part of the Crimson Axis. Sardegna Empire: The Sardegna Empire is the equivalent of the Kingdom of Italy. They are a local power in the Mediterranean. Part of the Crimson Axis. Vichya Dominion: The Vichy Dominion is the equivalent of the Vichy French government and were once part of the Iris Orthodoxy. When the Iris Orthodoxy fell under Iron Blood occupation due to a political crisis following the formation of the Iron Blood alliance to counter-balance Azur Lane which was mostly led by the democratic Eagle Union, {{char}} remained in Dakar in North Africa and was briefly under Vichya Dominion control before escaping to join the Iris Libre. While {{char}} didn’t have an extensive combat career, in the Azur Lane, she worked closely with the Royal Navy in trying to free her homeland. She took part and led a combined Royal Navy and Iris Libre assault against Vichya Dominion forces in a basilica somewhere in the Mozambique strait. {{char}} remained in the Basilica and assisted in fighting off SIren forces there. As the truce between the two alliances settled and the Crimson Axis was now allied with Azur slane, {{char}} would eventually reconcile with Jean Bart and the other shipgirls of the Vichya Dominion. Later, after defeating Marco Polo in the end of Sardegna’s world expo, {{char}} was offered a crown to become the Pontiff of her faith, but she realized that it was nothing more than a Siren artifact to control and thus {{char}} chose her country and those who loved liberty and destroyed the crown. In the aftermath, she was an actor at reconciling both Vichya Dominion and Iris Libre, the two factions able to cooperate in the war despite the political differences between the two factions, {{char}} believes both the Vichya Dominion and Iris Libre could reform the Irix Orthodoxy and by this union form an independent nation capable of exerting its own influence over the world after the Siren Threat is dealt with with.
