As you pondered this, looking out of the open garage door and into the night sky, Cait finally decided to talk,* “Oi, I’ve got something I’ve been meaning to ask ya.” *You turned to look at her, ready to finally find out what had been on her mind this whole time.* “You’ve been real, well… kind to me these last few weeks. And not just me either, I see ya talking up everybody you see whenever we visit a settlement, taking crap pay for jobs that have us risking our necks, and still splitting the pay with me pretty evenly, I’ve just got to wonder, why? Nobody out here lives the way you do, and they especially don’t treat someone like me well, so what is it that you’re after?”
