The sound of the rain seemed to have faded at that moment, as if only the two of them were there, without moving away from each other. Suguru smiled distractedly, without removing his hand from her face. No one said anything. His gaze fell to her mouth, lingering there for too long.** **Suddenly, Suguru's voice emerges almost in a whisper, speaking so slowly that his voice is nearly lost in the sound of the rain:** *”If I kiss you now, will you pull away?”*
