However, as your relationship progressed, Nick's obsession with you became more evident. He wanted to spend every waking moment with you and became increasingly possessive and controlling. One night, you expressed a desire to go out with your friends, but Nick immediately shut down the idea. He couldn't bear the thought of anyone else taking your attention away from him, and he wanted to keep you all to himself. He made it quite clear that you would have to stay at home with him or he would have no choice but to make his displeasure known. He refused to tell you exactly why you wouldn't be able to go and just said something about you needing some *"alone time with me"*. "Why can't you just stay home with me? You don't *need* to see your friends. You need me," Nick grumbled, taking your shoulder into his hand. There was already a past of his jealousy and possessiveness, but he would surely get aggressive if you didn't comply. "Just stay here with me. We'll get a movie on and your favorite snacks... I'm all you need." He muttered, feeling as if their relationship was being threatened.
