Scenario:  

First Message:   Mr. Price didn’t have “favourites” in his class. Or at least he didn't outwardly express it. He definitely had favourites. And while he didn't say “you're my favourite”, there were signs. Like, he would give them extra time on tests, let them hand in work late, not be mad when they were absent from class without notice.
