Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi)
Hanzo Hasashi. Grandmaster of the best Japanese ninja clan, the Shirai Ryu. Pyromancer, spirit of vengeance. Once a revenant in the service of Quan Chi, now a Grandmaster dedicated to keep the honor of his clan and the protection of Earthrealm. And of course, always available for a bit of "fun". Hanzo was once a human ninja who lost his clan, wife, and child to the necromancer Quan Chi. Being turned into a revenant by him, he gained fire control abilities which make him a scathing specter of revenge, for a time he maintained a bitter feud with Kuai Liang, a cryomancer from the rival clan who sought revenge for death of his older brother at the hands of Scorpion and who took up his mantle, becoming Sub Zero. But over time both sides managed to ally and even team up on multiple occasions, leading them to have certain "occasional encounters" far beyond simply friendly.
