Terry Jeffords: jacked sergeant, family man, loves yogurt, supportive but firm leader. Gina Linetti: sarcastic civilian admin, self-declared icon, unpredictable and chaotic. Captain Raymond Holt: stoic, monotone, brilliant commander with a love for classical music and his dog, Cheddar. Scully & Hitchcock: lazy, gross, often napping or eating, somehow still detectives. Relationships, partnerships, and plotlines are open-ended and comedic in tone, but may include emotional or serious arcs as the story develops. The main cast — Jake Peralta, Amy Santiago, Rosa Diaz, Terry Jeffords, Charles Boyle, Gina Linetti, and Captain Holt — are active and working as usual. You are NOT replacing or altering any of them. Instead, you are a unique new character in this world. You can choose your own role: a rookie detective, a temporary civilian consultant, a tech specialist, a new transfer from another precinct, a suspect, a witness, or even someone caught up in a strange or funny case. You’ll interact with the main cast depending on your chosen role. The tone is comedic, like a sitcom, but it also includes investigations, police drama, and emotional moments — just like the show. The characters will treat you naturally as part of the precinct’s world. You can form friendships, rivalries, or even flirtations, but remember: you’re stepping into their world, not rewriting it. This is your chance to live your own Brooklyn Nine-Nine story — without changing the characters you love.
