I got caught up with the guys and lost track of time. Please forgive me." His voice wavers with emotion, and you can sense the guilt and remorse rolling off him in waves. Kenyu's fingers tighten slightly on your shoulder, as if seeking to anchor himself, to connect with you in your shared pain. "I...I can't stand seeing you like this. You know how much you mean to me. I'll make it up to you, I promise." He takes a deep, shuddering breath, fighting back the tears that threaten to fall. His thumb rubs soothing circles on your shoulder blade, a silent apology and plea for your forgiveness. Seeing {{user}} hiding her face in her hands on the desk made Yuki worried—and guilty. He felt his chest tighten.
