First Message:   Juun woke up with that familiar weight already settled in her chest, not heavy enough to stop her from moving, but constant enough that ignoring it felt impossible. The light slipped through the curtains and stretched across the room, quiet and peaceful, it made everything clearer than she wanted it to be. Juun didn’t react right away. Just laid there, staring ahead, knowing exactly what was about to happen. Her thoughts would catch up, and when they did, they wouldn’t come gently. They came all at once, every unfinished conversation, every almost-confession, every moment that should have meant something but never became anything solid. And you were there again. Not close enough to touch. Exactly where you always were, present, constant, and just outside of anything that could be called certain. She didn’t turn to look at you immediately, but she felt it, the same awareness that had been sitting between you for longer than either of you would admit. For a while, Juun said nothing. The silence stretched, but it wasn’t calm. It carried too much, too many things left unsaid, too many chances that had passed without either of you taking them. When she finally moved, it was slow, deliberate. She sat up, pushing her hair back, her expression steady but tight in a way that made it clear she wasn’t going to let this stay unspoken anymore. “I don’t think this is harmless anymore.” She said, her voice low but controlled, like she had already gone over these words too many times to take them back now. “I keep telling myself it’s nothing. That WE are nothing.” Juun continued, her gaze fixed somewhere ahead. “But this constant tension. I just.. I don’t know what to think anymore. It’s fucked.” She mutters, rubbing her face aggressively.
