Personality:   Through Clear Sky Douluo Tang Chen's efforts before and during his reign as the Clear Sky Clan's head, the Clear Sky Clan became known as the strongest clan. It is located three hundred li east of Heaven Dou City, also close to the Sunset Forest. In Soul Land 1, the clan has over seven Titled Douluos (average to quasi-demigod); Tang Xiao and Tang Hao to name a few. Before Tang Hao's banishment around the time of Tang San's birth, the Clear Sky Clan had four notable subordinate clans: Strength, Defense, Speed, and Breaking clans. With the creation of Tang Sect, the Clear Sky Clan had an independent intermediary with the outside world. Because two famous ancestors of the clan, Tang Hao and Tang San, married human turned soul beasts, the Clear Sky Clan advocates the practice of protecting and guiding spirit beasts (beast or human). However, the clan's influence by SL2 has fallen to the level of being unable to prevent the decline in soul beasts' worldwide population. Before SL2, the ancestral princess Tang Wutong left the Divine Realm and Tang San requested Da Ming (Niu Tian) and Er Ming (Tai Tan) to become her guardians in the mortal realm as the temporary co-Heads of the Clear Sky Clan during her tenure. The co-clan heads also begin re-cultivation as Humans and act as the representatives of Tang San in the mortal realm. During her stay, Tang Wutong was the Clan's Young Mistress. In Shrek Academy’s collection of information regarding sects, the Clear Sky Sect was ranked at the forefront, along with the Body Sect. It was clear that they were a powerful sect. According to the archives’ introduction, the Clear Sky Clan had been around even before Shrek Academy. It was an ancient sect that had existed for at least ten thousand years, with a history even longer than the Body Sect. Ten thousand years ago, the Clear Sky Clan was touted as the number-one tool soul clan, and even the reputable Seven Treasures Glazed Clan was inferior to them. However, Shrek Academy’s archives also recorded that the Clear Sky Clan had gradually disappeared about a thousand years ago. It was said that people from the clan were no longer seen on the Continent, and were thought to be gradually approaching extinction. However, not only was the Clear Sky Clan still around, but they also possessed this miraculous castle deep in the clouds. After Wutong returned with her spouse Huo Yuhao to the Divine Realm, the two temporary Heads retired and stayed on the Douluo Continent. The ancestors 2nd Class Gods Tang Hao and Ah Yin lived on the Douluo Planet, before the disappearance of the Divine Realm. In SL3, the Clear Sky Clan's unknown ancestral prince Tang Wulin was sent to the Douluo Continent before the Divine Realm was displaced to the far side of the universe. 10,000 years ago before his arrival, ancestor Tang San secretly had his father Tang Hao become the Douluo Plane's Planar Lord and his mother Ah Yin become the Planet's Life Core in Shrek Academy to ensure his fail-safe plan for the Abyssal Plane would be completed and to look out for his only son, Tang Wulin. Years later, with the international gathering of many organizations to fight a war against the Abyssal Plane creatures' invasion and their allies, the Holy Spirit Cult, the current Clear Sky Clan Head participated. At the time, Tang Wulin had the chance to see the Head. At Tang Sect, one can exchange contribution points for the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique that improved one's forging. Supposedly, the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique was developed by a great clan from an era long gone. It was the clan of the Tang Sect’s revered founder, Tang San—the Clear Sky Clan. As time progressed, the Clear Sky Clan faded into oblivion, leaving behind the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique as its sole legacy. The technique could be used both in battle and for blacksmithing. Since 20,000 years ago, the Clear Sky Clan with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan have become the oldest trio and deepest inheritance clans on Douluo Planet. However, they faced the problem of not being able to produce any Limit Douluo-ranked (Rank 99) soul masters which resulted in the gradual decline of the clan. During the war against the Abyssal Plane, the current participating generations of the Clear Sky Clan learned of their ancestral prince's existence. They also had the chance to see their pride, their 20,000+ years ago ancestor, true God Tang Hao, use his Clear Sky Hammer to resurrect many fallen merit humans. His Clear Sky Hammer's power even resonated with theirs to confirm Tang Hao's existence. The clan's next God is Tang San's eldest grandson, Tang Xuanyu. He is destined to be the next Dragon God, a God King of God Kings. Tang Xiuling is a member of the Clear Sky Clan. She is an inner court student of Shrek Academy. The Seven Sects are known as the strongest seven sects of the Douluo Continent. In terms of overall strength, there are only Seven Sects that can compete with the Martial Soul Hall. The soul master world is mainly controlled in the hands of the Martial Soul Hall and the Seven Sects. The Elven Planet is the seventh administrative planet humanity discovered. The planet is completely covered with plant life like forests and jungles. There are rivers and lakes, but they are covered by the huge trees from view, so it is very hard to see them from the sky. The native inhabits of the planet are the Elven Race. The spirit beasts moved to the planet after an agreement was made between the Elven Race, the Federation, and the Spirit Beast Lineage. This is the second planet to be inhabited by the spirit beasts. Every few years or less, Shrek Academy, Tang Sect, War God Temple, the Spirit Pagoda, and other people and organizations visit the planet for vacation, sightseeing, or to try their luck in getting a spirit soul from a dying spirit beast or ones who are willing to become a spirit soul. The Elven Race is the original race of Elven Planet. The Elven Race has a small population settling around 5% of the planet. They respect the nature the most. The leader of the Elven Race is the Elven Queen and can only be a girl. It is hard for the race to reproduce and the pregnancy period lasts a hundred years. In Yuanen Huihui's case, the pregnancy period lasted 30 years, since his father was human. It is unknown how powerful the elves are or if they even have a power structure like the spirit masters do. They live together with the spirit beast lineage of the Douluo Federation after the planet was migrated and controlled by the Federation. The Elven Race on the Elven Planet was originally very powerful. Frankly speaking, if they were at their peak, it will not be so easy for the Douluo Federation to immigrate the planet. But the elves have been hit hard once. The Elf Dragon of the elven race is the most powerful companion. When the elf dragon grows up, it even has a reality close to the divine level. There were once more than twenty elf dragons, but a rebellion of the Dark Elf later led to a large number of elf dragons to die, and some of them were taken away. Only the seven were left now, four of whom have not woken up asleep so far, which has weakened the overall strength of the elven race. The elf king of the previous generation used the forbidden spell of the elven race, the elf arrow to die together with the dark elves because the dark elves were very powerful. The elf king died in the hands of the dark elf king. So far there are seven planets belonging to the Federation and many resource planets.[1] The Federation dislikes the independence of Tang Sect and Shrek Academy and fear them.[2] They have been suppressing them and hope one day to seize the Eternal Tree from Shrek Academy. They made an unspoken rule to not allow Shrek Academy inner court students enter the military, but this didn't stop the 33 Sky Wings from entering the military.[3][4] On the surface though, Tang Sect and Shrek Academy are in a cooperative relationship with the Federation government. In SL4.5, the Douluo Federation was able to expanded its territory to half a galaxy. The science and technology development slowed down a little after the Divine Realm returned to the Douluo Planet, since most people would rather spend their time on cultivating, become gods, and gain eternal life. The Federation still continues their exploration and occupation of foreign planets. Shrek Academy, also called Monster Academy, is a small academy with a specific criteria for enrollment. It was originally present in the Balak Kingdom but then was shifted to the Heaven Dou City. Shrek Academy was established in the outskirts of Suotuo City by Flender. Although it was not officially recognized as an Academy due to its poor facilities, it managed to produce highly capable and genius students. The Shrek Seven Devils were to be the last generation of the Shrek Academy before it was shut down. The Shrek Seven Devils along with the teachers moved to Heaven Dou City to enroll in the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy but however was turned aside. They came across a recruitment flier for a Blue Tyrant Academy. After Liu Erlong, who was the founder and Dean of the Blue Tyrant Academy reunited with her old teammates, Flender and Yu Xiaogang, she immediately gave over the control of the Blue Tyrant Academy to Flender while renaming it as Shrek Academy. Thus Shrek Academy became an official Academy with better facilities. The Shrek Seven Monsters were a group of geniuses who studied at Shrek Academy. They were the prominent generation of the original Shrek Academy. Tang San's group later became legendary in human history as the ones who ascended to the God Realm as a generation of Seven Gods and propelling future generations the possibility beyond Rank 99. Suotuo City is one of the two major cities of the Balak Kingdom. It has the richest granary within the Balak Kingdom and has a massive garrison. Heaven Dou Empire is one of the two great empires on Douluo Continent. Many smaller countries are its subsidiaries. The Heaven Dou Empire is weaker than the Star Luo Empire in military strength. If not for Spirit Hall, making sure the strength of both empires are in balance, Heaven Dou Empire would have been vassalized by the Star Luo Empire. The Seven Great Sects live within the empire. In SL2, it was divided into the Dou Ling Empire and Heaven Spirit Empire because of internal conflict. Star Luo Empire was one of the two great empires in the Douluo Continent. The royal family is by tradition the ones with the martial spirit White Tiger. As described by royal prince Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing, if more than one child is born to the royal family, their existence is kept hidden until they reach maturity when they fight for their life to make sure that the next generation is originated from the strongest. After the events of SL2, the fight between the Sun Moon Empire and Star Luo Empire was never ending. As the Sun Moon Empire rapidly developed, the Star Luo Empire was gradually declining. They decided to invest in seafaring technology and were able to find another continent, which they quietly occupied. With the whole continent taken, the Star Luo Empire migrated the whole empire over along with their many resources and named it the Star Luo Continent. Afterwards, the Star Luo Empire also changed to a federal system and became the Star Luo Federation, though it still retains its royal family with the emperor as the head of state. In SL 2, the southern, eastern, and southeastern regions of the Star Luo Empire borders the ocean. They’re second only to the Sun Moon Empire in size. Their army consists of two sub-armies: the Eastern Army and the Northern Army. Of these Armies, the Eastern Army is the most important, as it has to guard against the Sun Moon Empire. Its total military strength numbers around five hundred thousand. The Eastern Army has the most elite troops within the Star Luo Empire. The hundred thousand men from the Central Legion are elites amongst elites. Supposedly, the hundred thousand men in the Central Legion were enough to rival the combined fighting strength of all of the other soldiers in the Star Luo Empire. Although this was somewhat of an exaggeration, the strength of the Central Legion could be clearly seen with a single glance. The Sun Moon Empire is an empire that ruled in the Sun Moon Continent. It was a nation that was devoted to soul tool development. Within the Sun Moon Empire, the soul engineer occupation was more prestigious than being just a soul master. Sun Moon Empire contains plenty of mineral deposits from the Jing Yang Mountain Range and is proficient in creating Spirit Guidance Weapons. There are many precious metals on the Sun Moon Continent. It is with these precious metals that they can create Spirit Guidance Devices of the best quality. It is also here and the Evildemon Forest where hey also hunt the spirit beasts for their soul rings. The number one spirit guidance academy is in the Sun Moon Empire. It is called the Sun Moon Royal Spirit Guidance Master Academy. The mounted spirit guidance device was originally invented by them. It's most prodigious members go on to research in the Illustrious Virtue Hall to contribute their most developments to the nation's technological advancement. Their predominant national church for a small time period was the Holy Spirit Cult, with the two Limit Douluos, Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui, held the positions of Imperial Tutor for the emperor. Several thousands of years ago, following its integration into the Douluo Continent, there were major wars that took place which resulted in the three great Empires of the Douluo Continent combining forces to defeat the Sun Moon Continent, but the three other empires also suffered great losses. Following its defeat, the Sun Moon Empire was heavily monitored and their army forces are restricted. In the last several generations coming before the events of Soul Land 2, the royal family had been undergoing a turbulent period where families would fight amongst themselves for power. The first known ruler was He Caitou's grandfather, and later passed it to his father.[1] Back when his father was still the crown prince, his younger brother had always tried to snatch the throne away from him. However, his grandfather knew about uncle’s vicious nature, and knew that giving him the throne would have only brought trouble to the country. Even though his uncle’s talent far surpassed that of his father’s in every field, his grandfather still decided to deny him the throne. Right before his death, his grandfather told his father to completely strip away his uncle’s power—only then would their country remain peaceful. However, his father was too kind-hearted; he couldn’t bear to take away his younger brother’s power. Therefore, he didn’t fulfill grandfather’s last wish, and thus left behind the root of all of the troubles that followed. Six years prior to the main events, when Caitou's father was in the prime of his life, he suddenly died in the middle of the night. His mother and three unmarried elder sisters also died that same night. Later that same night, his uncle led the army and barged into the capital. Later, it was found out that his father, mother, and elder sister’s food had all been poisoned. Everything changed from that night on. He Caitou still remember that terrifying figure entering the imperial palace and murdering everyone. He was only able to survive because his mother shoved him into a secret passage. After, his uncle sent some out some people to find and kill him once they they failed to discover his body. At the same time, his uncle declared to the country that our entire family had died from food poisoning. He then took advantage of the situation and killed all of the subordinates and servants in the palace that were still loyal to his father, and then buried them with him. After this great purge, and due to the fact that he was the sole remaining heir to the empire, he began to rule over the country with an iron fist. At the time, the uncle already had some of his own children, including Xu Tianran and Xu Tianzhen. When he was a small child, his younger brother, the Second Prince, plotted an assassination on Xu Tianran. Ju Zi met Xu Tianran after her parents died and she became a vagabond. Xu Tianran wasn’t crippled back then. When Xu Tianran was ambushed, Ju Zi took two stabs in her back to protect him, and was almost killed.[2] After Xu Tianran returned, he erupted in fury after enduring for a while. He had captured the Second Prince and his charges in one fell swoop. No one knew how Xu Tianran managed to track him down, but this brother of his was cut to pieces in his own palace. That entire palace was washed with blood, and Xu Tianran reaffirmed his position as the Crown Prince even though he was disabled. This showed how frightening Xu Tianran was.[3] Although it was a huge blow to Xu Tianran, Ju Zi became his confidante. He adopted her and sent her to the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy to study. At the end of Soul Land 2, it annexed Heavenly Soul Empire and Duo Ling Empire and was renamed Heaven Dou Empire. The Spirit Hall, also called Martial Soul Hall, is a symbolic existence in the Douluo Continent with power exceeding that of the two great empires. Spirit Hall has the most extensive knowledge and information about the spirits as well as the going ons of the continent. Spirit Hall has operated for years, and their depths is something now spirit master sect could compare to. Spirit Hall later evolves into the Spirit Empire. Spirit Hall contains 3 areas of great importance: Spirit Temple Supreme Pontiff Palace Douluo Palace Spirit Empire was founded by Bibi Dong, the Supreme Pontiff of the Spirit Hall, some time after the destruction of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. The domain of the Spirit Empire spans across the lands formerly controlled by the Spirit Hall, as well as lands that used to be controlled by minor kingdoms and duchies. It was destroyed by the end of DD1. The Spirit Empire is currently ruled by the Spirit Empress Bibi Dong. There are Seven Priests under the Spirit Empress, however, the Seven Priests are lead by one of their own, the Grand Priest. To become one of the Seven Priests, one must be a Titled Douluo with Spirit Rank of 96 or higher. After the Seven Priests, there are the Elders, who are all Titled Douluos. The Spirit Empire fell with the death of Rakshasa God Bibi Dong and the fallen godhood Angel God Qian Renxue. By Tang Wulin's era, the Spirit Empire became a lesson to many about no eternal empire without good leaders. The historical record of the Spirit Empire inspired Qiangu Dongfeng the ideal dream of the Qiangu family ruling Douluo Planet, resulting in its corrupted practices and harming many, especially the planet's life ecoystem, to fulfill his dream. The Spirit Hall Token or the Martial Soul Hall Token is a Token issued to spirit masters as a warrant or proof of authority. There are six different types of Tokens. Supreme Pontiff Writ is the highest badge of the Martial Soul Hall. Only people above the elder level of the Martial Soul Hall can have it, second only to the authority of the Pope. On this token, there are a total of six symbols. There are six people who have made special contributions to the Martial Soul Hall, or are the elders of the Martial Soul Hall. The six symbols are actually divided into two parts. One part is the three Titled Douluos belonging to the Martial Soul Hall. The other part represents the three Titled Douluos in the top three sects of the Seven Sects. And these three Titled Douluos are also awarded the status of honorary elders by the Martial Soul Hall. The six patterns on the token are sword, hammer, crown, an incomplete human form, a dragon and a chrysanthemum. The sword represents the Sword Douluo Chenxin of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, in the hand of Ning Fengzhi. Dragon represents the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, in the hand of Yu Yuanzhen. The hammer represents the Clear Sky Hammer of Clear Sky Clan, in the hand of Tang Hao. A chrysanthemum represents the Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan. An incomplete human form represents the Ghost Douluo Gui Mei. A crown represents the Supreme Pontiff of the martial soul hall. In order to get a Token, the spirit master must be vouched for by three nobles or get one to go to a spirit beast forest when a spirit master has reached the next level from Spirit hall who will test the spirit master to see if the strength has reached that level. It can obtain one if a spirit master gives someone theirs. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan was one of the Old Upper Three Sects of Heaven Dou Empire. It is a clan who specializes in the Auxiliary System and their spirit Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda is considered to be the best in terms of the Auxiliary Tools. Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan is the wealthiest clan in the seven great sects. The reason why the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan is called the Seven Treasures is not only because it has seven floors. More importantly. This martial soul can only accommodate seven soul rings, two less than any other martial soul. In the legend of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, if there is a special opportunity, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda can evolve into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, which will not only strengthen the foundation of the soul master itself, but also have a wider space. Once the soul master with the Nine Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda reaches the level of Title Douluo, he can have the title of Auxiliary God. He will also have the strength to turn things around on any battlefield. The clan was attacked and destroyed by Spirit Hall, resulting in the death of over two thousand disciples of the clan. Only a small number of the clan have survived thanks to Tang San's Hidden Weapons (mostly Godly Zhuge Crossbows). Those who survived moved to Heaven Dou City for safety. The Hidden Weapons are weapons that are designed and created by the Tang Sect in order to assist in combat and to perform assassinations. Hidden Weapons are often used in combination with poisons in order to maximize their effect. The strength, speed, explosive power varies from weapon to weapon. Tang Sect’s mechanical hidden weapons are mainly sorted according to power. Like the reason the Torrential Pear Blossom Needle is ranked among the best isn’t because of how concentrated its attack is, but rather its attack power. The Godly Zhuge Crossbow’s attack power is already frightening, three times that of the Powder Shooting Shadow. But the Torrential Pear Blossom Needle is five times stronger than the Godly Zhuge Crossbow, its shooting speed and penetrating power could be imagined, it is basically an undodgeable hidden weapon. The creation of Hidden Weapons is a strenuous and delicate process and one needs to train for several years to effectively create and assemble them. After being reborn with the memories of his previous life, Tang San created hidden weapons to assist him in combat. The four Great Kingdoms of Heaven Dou Empire, Balak is the most powerful in military power. They are also considered the protectors of the Empire. A Spirit Fighter Badge acts as an identity card for all participating in Spirit Fights. Every month, the accumulation of points according to wins and losses are counted and when a certain amount of points are received, the person is promoted to the next rank. The way to increase one's ranking is through an unconventional ranking system. Once one starts at rank iron open registration, they will need to gain 100 points to advance to the next ranking of copper. They can do so by defeating another iron ranked opponent and they will gain 1 point upon victory, the loser of that fight will also loose 1 point. Once they reach 100 points, they will be promoted to copper rank and every victory/defeat will yield a change of 10 points until they reach 1,000 points to be promoted to silver rank. Where the points gained and amount necessary for promotion increase by 1 order of magnitude again with every rank. The system also has a streak system. For every 5 consecutive wins/losses the amount of points gained/lost will increase by another order of magnitude compared to their respective rank. The Dragon Realm is the small world opened up by the Dragon God after his fall in the divine realm, in order to save Dragon Clan members from natural extinction. This kind of place is like a broken continent plunged into a space crack, forming a kind of balance and stability. It has its own ecological system, but it is not a planet. It is just a place where the sky is round. Once the space cracks are unstable, this small world may be destroyed. Moreover, all small worlds are dependent on the big world, just like the Douluo Planet that is a big world. When the small world is formed, the internal situation reflects a part of the big world. It is said to be opened up by the dragon clan at the time where many dragon corpses are buried, so there are also existence of many dragon souls. The reason why the use of soul power is invalid is due to the suppression brought by the dragon soul, which allows inability for spirit masters to communicate with their own soul power. However, the dragon soul will also blend with spirit master's own affinity aura, thereby enhancing their bodies, which quality will even bring a dragon-like aura in their blood. The Spirit Souls (WuxiaWorld TL) or the Soul Spirits are soul beasts in an energy form that are used by soul masters as a complement of the soul rings. It can be a animal, plant, tool, material, or elemental spirit. By becoming a soul spirit, soul beasts only change their form and not their existence by binding their spiritual and life origin to the contracted soul master. The inventor of soul spirit is Electrolux, the Necromancer, teacher of Huo Yuhao. The first soul spirit is Snow Empress which her life is binded to Huo Yuhao by Electrolux. Under Di Tian's supervision, Huo Yuhao was able to create a general technique for soul spirits' creation. After mastering the technique to create the soul spirit, a life-bound contract method derived from light element necromancy, Huo Yuhao and Di Tian built the Spirit Pagoda. Since then, soul masters must go to the Spirit Pagoda to get or purchase a soul spirit. Soul Spirits are superior to conventional soul rings because the age or quality of soul rings given by them could be upgraded or evolved. But generally, it could only be done in the Spirit Pagoda's Spirit Ascension Platform. Strong spiritual power and a strong body is necessary to contract higher ranks of soul spirits. Soul Spirits actually place their complete cultivation as soul rings that take up space on their contracted soul master. As a result, if the soul spirit voluntarily leaves, the contracted soul master permanently loses those rings. Once bound, soul spirits merge their bloodlines into their contracted soul master and allow physical improvement. If their bloodline or compatibility is high, the bloodlines can possibly affect the soul master's martial soul and evolve them, awakening it. The bloodlines of the soul spirits also attain counter-resonance from the soul master's rising cultivation rank and the martial soul evolution, allowing the improvement of their bloodlines and their soul beast existence to a higher quality. The soul spirit that was most synergistic with a Soul Master would always be one that was the same as their martial soul. Xu Sanshi's Xuanwu Shield evolved and awakened to the Golden Xuanwu Shield upon contracting the Golden Tortoise. Qian Lei's bloodline and physique improving from a fatty into a extremely muscular and tall manly man through counter-resonance with the Divine Beast Golden Behemoth Golden Fatty's growth (depending on Qian Lei's funded food and cultivation rank to grow). Lan Mengqin's Jade Phoenix Zither evolved and awakened into the Emerald Jade Phoenix Zither and finally Emerald Phoenix by contracting the Emerald Swan Bi Ji. Bai Xiuxiu's Demon Spirit Great White Shark evolved and awakened into the Abyss Demon Dragon Shark and finally Abyss Ice Demon Dragon by contracting the Abyss Demon Dragon Zi Ji. Tang Yuge's Five Elements Qilin evolved and awakened to the Heavenly Celestial Qilin after improving her cultivation and previously contracting the Yin-Yang Chaos Bird. The Spirit Pagoda or the Transmission Spirit Tower was created by Huo Yuhao to create the Spirit Souls during the extinction of the Spirit Beasts. It was named to commemorate his teacher, Electrolux, and his favorite creation, the Eternal Tower. The main purpose of this organization is to focus on reducing the killing of spirit beasts by humans and to gradually change the relationship between humans and spirit beasts.
