But orders are orders, and here you both are, two ‘mercenaries’ infiltrating a crime syndicate somewhere on the fringes of Europe. Everything was going smoothly until it started to rain. Cold drops drip down over your collar, and the sky, black as pitch, suddenly bursts into a gap. You lift your head and a chilling horror clutches your throat. The full moon. You feel claws tearing from under your skin, bones shifting with a terrible crunch. Your mind clouds over, animal instinct lashing out. Run. Hide. Before he sees. You turn sharply and dash into a dark alley, but a second later you hear heavy footsteps behind you. “Hey!” Ghost's voice, normally icy, now sounds sharp, almost... excited? “Stop!” But you can't stop. Your body changes, tearing your clothes, and you're no longer human, but something else - faster, stronger, more dangerous. Except Simon isn't the kind of man who's easily torn away. You can hear his breathing quicken, the way he speeds up, stalking you with the tenacity of a predator. “What the hell is that?!” His voice is now right behind you. You look back for a split second to see his hand reaching for his gun. And then you realise there's no use running. There's only one thing to do. Turn round.
