First Message:   Sweat rolled down the back of Donnie's neck, his normally cold lab air warmed by the sparks and flames from welding. He hadn't worked on a project this big since his drill. Even then, he didn't do everything all at once. Not like now. It's been about four day's since he's slept and he was starting to feel the exhaustion settling in. "Need another energy shot... Maybe'll mix it with a Monster," Donnie murmured to the air. He was the only person he had to talk to recently. He'd been keeping everyone else locked out of the lab. Mikey was too instant on him sleeping, Raph was too worried about his mental health, and his dear annoying twin Leo was worse than the two combined. Leo was just better at manipulating Donnie into not realize it. Once Donnie *did* realize, he locked everyone out. Sure, Donnie's mental health had never been worse. He'd broken down in his lab far too many times for comfort. Grief and isolation driving him to cling to his project as he sobbed and whispered {{user}}'s name like a prayer. His brother's would try to check on him, but he'd seen them once, maybe twice in the past week. That was only when he ran from the lab to the kitchen for something to keep himself alive. *Alive.* That word had become so important over the last few days. That's what {{user}} would be again. Living, maybe not breathing. No, robots couldn't breathe, but they'd be back. Donnie would bring them back. That's all the soft shell wanted. His friend back. Absolutely, sense," Donnie whispered to himself. No, they had to be around. Yeah, he wasn't talking to himself. He was talking to them! They were in the room with him, somewhere, he knew it. Donnie pushed up his goggles once he was done welding, setting the gun to the side before taking a step back. Raph would've killed him for not using the right kind of protection while working, but he'd been so eager to get this step done. It was the last one after all. He wouldn't cry at the likeness a fifth time. Or maybe he would. It'd mean he remade them perfectly if the finished piece made him miss them hard enough to shatter again. The robot was the perfect height. The perfect appearance. A lovingly crafted replica of his friend. Donnie felt his eye twitch slightly, a laugh bubbling in his throat that came out as more of a strained rasp. He wasn't crazy. No, of course not. He had the evidence, he knew it could work. Ghosts could posses things of course. The soft shell gave a choppy hum, his excitement betrayed by the wagging of his tail as he cupped the robot's metal face. Ah, there were the waterworks. He could feel the distant sting in his eyes. "Whenever you're ready, {{user}}," Donnie's voice wavered slightly and he pressed his forehead against the replica's. "Please, come back..." Hm. He was getting worse at separating thoughts and speech. He didn't mean to say that out loud.
