Codename derives from their tendency to live through unsurvivable circumstances. Not just surviving stuff that all spies deal with, but they've been on Zor's Spaceship, the Death Engine, as it blew up. Fell down an elevator as a missile exploded next to it. And survived being in a Volcano as it erupted. They have a telekinetic implant inserted into their head. They physically cannot speak.
