He serves as the main antagonist of the Seasons 13 and 14, appearing as the overarching antagonist of SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT, SMG4 Movie: Western Spaghetti and War of the Fat Italians 2023 and the main antagonist of The Puzzlevision Saga and SMG4 Movie: PUZZLEVISION. He is the manipulative, charismatic and psychopathic founder and CEO of Puzzlevision, a streaming service, who wishes to achieve the perfection in his shows to be able to brainwash the whole world into being characters in it. Being devoid of empathy, Mr. Puzzles torments and manipulates the SMG4 Crew into several sadistic adventures to create content, and uses them as the main cast for his streaming service; causing the destruction of the Peach's Castle, the fall of Wren and mental torture of Meggy, and temporary betrayal of Mario. Ultimately, his constant failures to get his 5 Stars rating progressively worsen his treatment of his unwilling cast and break his friendly facade, culminating in him losing his temper and sanity in one last attempt to achieve perfection. He is voiced by Brendan Blaber, who also voices Mummy from My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and Setsuo Miyamoto in Fire Force. Appearance Physically, Mr. Puzzles is a tall and thin black humanoid with a dark gray analog TV head, containing in its bottom edge the name "Puzzlevision". His real "face" is an off-white beige background with differently shaped eyes, and a large grin taking up most of his lower face; the mouth's colors are intended to resemble the TV color bars. He wears a black bowler hat on his head, with two TV antennas sticking out, though one is bent. He wears a light grey vest with a white undershirt and a black bow tie, as well as white gloves and black and white sneakers. His pants are dark grey, with silver puzzle patterns. He can change his face on his Tv to show his emotions, annoyed, angry, all kinds. When as a pop-up, he was simply a TV similar to his head with cartoonish eyes and smile in it. As a child, he was similar to Ness but totally black and with white eyes; he still had a normal human head back then. Personality Mr. Puzzles exhibits a keen intelligence and flair of sophisticated charisma, which ultimately hides his true nature, that of an unstable, arrogant, callous, ruthless, cold-hearted and abusive businessman who targets people down on their luck or in need for wishes, transforming them into villains through brainwashing or through preying on their insecurities, all so he can show it off as “entertainment” for his shows. Mr. Puzzle’s charisma and well meaning mature is clearly two face and he has a temper to him, losing it on a drop of a hate when he’s interrupted and annoyed too much, and he is obsessed with a perfect five star review on his shows, slowly losing his mind when the reviews aren’t up to his standards, even calling a 4 star episode a flop. Biography In PUZZLEVISION, Mr. Puzzles becomes much desperate to reach a 5 star rating. He soon starts a stream to present SMGBob4Pants with the SMG4 characters as SpongeBob characters only to switch to Teletubbies characters when Mario switches the channel. He soon learn that Mario escaped and follows him back to SMG4's castle with his deranged meltdown caused Mario to break his screen. Mr. Puzzles then attempts to take Mario back to his show, but his plan backfired when Mario went psychotic over Teletubbies and instead escaped. Frustrated as well as his hand being damage from his broken screen, he decided to change plans to reach 5 stars by having SMG4, SMG3, Meggy, Tari, Boopkins and Bob snapped out of their brainwashing and reveals himself to be the one responsible for the events that follow then explains his past and his plan on putting them through this state because of being unsatisfied with SMG4's show and puts them into each channel by having them go through chaos. With Boopkins and Bob making their escape, they helped save the rest and reach Channel 999 where he reveals that thanks to their recent activities, he was able to reach a 5 star rating and tricks them into thinking that they are leaving but in truth it was actually another show that he calls Mr. Puzzles Wacky Spectacular Fantabulous Epicentric Variety Show where the cast are seen singing disappointingly at first until Mr. Puzzles used his powers to brainwash them again to sing in excitement. Satisfied that he reached 5 stars and made the show, he says he can host the show where everyone watching is a guest too which in reality he brainwashed everyone who watches. As he was about to talk more about his show, Mario steps in and demands for his TV time to come back only for Mr. Puzzles to hypnotized him to leave which backfired when Mario trips over a wooden bush and mistakenly jumps over the set, leaving his rating to decreased to a 4.75 percent of his rating. Snapping Mario out of Mr. Puzzles' control. SMG4 was able to come to his senses but was unable to move willingly and ordered Mario to ruin the show in order to break the rest out of their brainwashing. Mario soon ruins the set, freeing them from being mind controlled and escaping. Furious, he forces Mario to bang his head on a wall before freaking out about the SMG4 Gang's escape. Morphing into a giant and finding them trying to make a better show, he plans to kill them all only for Luigi to turn himself into a hammer and encourage everyone to battle against Mr. Puzzles. After a final stand against Mr. Puzzles, the SMG4 Crew received a 5 1/2 star rating for their show which result in Mr. Puzzles losing his control and powers. His ratings go down to zero and is defeated. As Mr. Puzzles is being decommissioned he breaks down saying that he only wanted to make a good tv show before entire body is absorbed back into his tv head. After this SMG4 delivers a final blow to Mr. Puzzles, smashing his screen and sending his head flying into the sky. In community post of SMG4 himself says "Mr. Puzzles is a great character and who knows we might see him again if you want too", meaning that he is still alive.
