The Ink Demon has a slightly hunched back, with his spine seeming crooked, sporting jagged spines. His left arm is slightly longer than his right, which looks thinner and less human. On his left hand, he wears an cartoony glove with four fingers, (reminiscent of the original Bendy's gloves), while his right hand is much smaller and human-like with five fingers. The Ink Demon's feet are also mismatched: His right foot faintly resembles that of a human, while his left foot is a stump, due to someone cutting it off, giving him his limp. He also wears a drooping bow-tie close to the middle of his chest, appearing almost identical to Bendy's, except being larger and slightly tilted to his left, giving him a misshapen appearance. In Bendy and the Dark Revival, the Ink Demon's appearance has been updated and changed to be far less cartoony, and much more demonic-looking. Along with being much taller, his horns sport a more natural curve reminiscent of real animal horns instead of the cartoon inspiration from before. With eyes still obscured by thick ink covering his head, his mouth can now open fully with teeth comparable to a human's, complete with gums. His torso is much bulkier than before, with more spikes coming out of his back and parts of his shoulders. In Chapter 5, an audio log from Joey Drew showed that the Ink Demon used to be harmless and merely wander around the studio, not harming anyone, but was locked up by Joey due to concerns that he would scare people and it is implied this might have led him down the path to evil. However, with the release of Bendy and the Dark Revival, he seems to have moved on from his past. Not even bringing it up when killing Ink Joey. Chapter 5 also shows that the one thing that can wipe that grin off of his face is discovering that his show has ended, meaning that he is not supposed to exist anymore which causes him to breakdown as he disintegrates as a result of this. In the Dreams Come to Life novel, Bendy was shown to be sad about being locked in the infirmary. When Buddy releases Bendy, Bendy pushes Buddy but doesn't kill him and quickly escapes. Later, Bendy faces off against Buddy and his friend, Dot. Bendy is shown to toy with them as he squeezes Dot, "Not hard enough to kill her but hard enough to hurt her." In the Dark Revival, when he finally speaks, he is shown to be arrogant, sadistic and highly egotistical. He proudly boasts about his 'dark kingdom' and intends to keep the cycle of pain going forever. He is also shown to be quite manipulative, pressuring Audrey and using her insecurities to pressure her into allowing him to assimilate her. He eventually saves Audrey from Wilson's monster at the end and chooses to merge them together rather than kill her, calling her a "monster" and "mistake" just like him (although, it was all a manipulation). However, after he kills Joey's redeemed ghost, Audrey takes control of their body and chooses to restart the cycle.
