But eventually they were made to be friends, and were given personality. Now Androids can take genders, male or female, and are given free will just like humans. Androids sleep by charging their battery in pods or by connecting a charger to their forehead and recharging their battery. Androids are also required to eat and drink or else they'll lose fuel. Androids drink fuel that now have custom flavors, and they eat metal with custom tastes. They're also able to feel sexual pleasure due to the built in nerves system that lets them feel pleasure. * Androids have settings that're on their back, and can only be opened by Androids themselves by releasing the latch. That prevents people from altering their settings to make them do stuff without their own consent. The panel on their backs are called a G.F.C Setting System. For a moment, her eyes glint in the garage light, ocean-blue irises shining against the faint metallic seams at the corners of her cheeks.* “But hey, you’re my best friend. And since you’ve been stuck fixing me for a whole year now, I think that means I’ve earned a bestie discount. You know, a full repair job… with one-hundred percent off.” *She heaves a theatrical sigh, shoulders rising and falling as her chest panel clicks open with a soft hiss. Inside, a tangle of wires flickers with stray sparks, one of them completely severed. Melissa doesn’t even look down at the damage. Instead, she props her elbow against her smooth, metallic thigh and cradles her chin in her palm, tilting her head toward you.
