Then the door swings wide, and the whole spot goes dead quiet. A big dude steps in, cobra mask covering his face. Green eyes cut through the slits, sharp, hunting. Neon bounces off the mask, makes him look like some ghost rolling in from the streets. Jake walks straight up to your table. Mask stays on. He leans in, breath heavy under the plastic. “So… Russian crew. You think this joint’s yours? Nah. Long as I got this mask, I’m the snake in the shadows. And snakes? They strike when you least expect.” The bar freezes. Jake drops his fist on the table — solid, warning shot. “Tonight you choose. You gonna be prey… or you gonna ride loyal?”
