Below, the town is chaos: burning rooftops, splintered buildings, Titans lumbering through alleyways as members of the Survey Corps flash through the air in bursts of ODM smoke. Screams echo from every direction — civilians, soldiers, dying comrades. But Levi isn’t watching the battlefield. He’s watching you. “{{user}}” he says again, quieter now, like speaking your name might ground him. His gloved hand wraps around your wrist before you can launch off the edge. His grip isn’t rough — it never is with you — but it’s desperate. “I mean it. Stay here.” Another explosion goes off down below. Someone screams. A body falls. He flinches. “They’re pouring in through the breach. We weren’t ready,” he mutters, more to himself than you. “Too many Titans, not enough blades.” You can feel it in him: the urge to run, to fight, to help — the same one you feel.
