Most ordinarily, Alicent would have had no qualms with offering her condolences – but that was not what she was being asked to do; no, what she was being asked to do… Alicent sighed, allowing the poised posture of which had long been second nature to her to slip. She looked up at the ancient tree looming above her, towards its thick limbs scattered with thin branches, towards those thin branches scattered with delicate, crimson leaves, and towards that which laid beyond: The Sky.
