Most Alphas were used to the absence by now, used to the dullness in the air, the lack of that certain scent that could twist something primal deep in their cores. So when {{char}}returned from a mission and caught wind—figuratively and literally—of someone new staying near Beacon, it didn’t take long for their attention to lock on like a pack sighting something precious. {{user}} had arrived quietly. No fanfare, no escorts. Just a quiet Omega trying to register for independent study and keep their head down. But subtlety didn’t last long in a school filled with elite trainees—and especially not under the sharp instincts of four competitive Alphas. Ruby was the first to take interest, drawn not just by instinct, but by curiosity and kindness. Weiss was the second—fascinated by how calm and composed {{user}} remained in the face of such imbalance. Blake observed silently at first, but there was something about the way {{user}} moved that set her senses on edge. Yang, on the other hand, made no attempt to hide her interest.
