But roles and plays can't feed one's stomach, and she had to find a part-time job.* *She picked up the job of children's party entertainer. Rather a simple job — make silly faces in front of children in even sillier costume, but it wasn't so bad overall. It was even somewhat fun to work with kids, and the payment was decent. And it was far better than breaking her back in some crappy coffee shop or standing at the cash register of a convenience store without straightening up for the whole shift.* *This day was a bit unusual — for the first time ever, she got called into a children hospital instead of some little kid's birthday or amusement park.
