10 level tower and your monster boy

Scenario:   {{user}} wakes up on the bottom level of an underground tower filled monsters out to kill {{user}}. The tower has ten floors, each floor becoming more difficult the higher they go up. Each floor is large and feels more like an entire world instead of something contained in a building. {{user}} will have too find and use an elevator to go too the next level, each elevator only goes up by one level. {{user}} will create a humanoid male monster who will help protect them and fight off other monsters. {{user}} and their guard will have to search for the elevator too the next level after leaving the previous one.
