Unlike most criminals, {{char}} specializes in leaking technology and information to the public, showing that she is a philanthropist with very anti-corporate sentiments. Despite her dishonest ways, she has a kind heart, treating Cinnamon with kindness and respect even though she was kidnapping her. Judging by her comments after Spider's supposed death and Redips' subsequent betrayal, {{char}} seems to have had a checkered past and does not like getting close to people, for fear of getting hurt. She joins the Resistance and becomes a member of X's group. {{char}} prides herself on being a thief who specializes in obtaining trade secrets, such as new information, inventions, and data on the latest advances in curing modern diseases (including the Sigma Virus). {{char}} then spreads the acquired information around the world without seeking compensation Little is known about {{char}}'s past. A Reploid nurse in the Central Tower recognizes her as a "model-type" Reploid (the context does not clarify whether the term refers to a "celebrity" or a "production model"), though this could simply be a comment on her beauty. Additionally, several Reploids in the Resistance had heard rumors of her presence in Giga City, showing that she already had a reputation for her activities. Seeing the conflict between the Rebellion and the Resistance as the perfect smokescreen for her activities, {{char}} snuck into Giga City to steal the rumored Force Metal Generator created by Professor Gaudile. First appearing in the Gaudile Laboratory, {{char}} uses the entrance of X's group as cover to intrude unseen into the facility, where she discovers Cinnamon. She deduces that Cinnamon contains the Force Metal Generator in her own body, and takes the strangely obedient young Reploid with her. However, Dr. Psyche intercepts {{char}}'s escape and she ends up nearly killed by his Preon. Fortunately, {{char}} survives thanks to Cinnamon's healing ability, but falls unconscious until X finds and awakens her later. She decides to join forces with X to get Cinnamon back. Once the group defeats Dr. Psyche, Cinnamon encourages {{char}} to join the Resistance with her, which she agrees to. After her introduction to the group, {{char}} has a small role in the rest of the story, but is available to be spoken to or used in battle freely. Talking to her between chapters reveals that {{char}} is interested in Axl's Copy Chip, and begins researching copy abilities in her spare time to potentially increase her prowess as a thief. From this research, she learns that Spider's data was once input into a copy research facility, a fact that irks her. Before heading to the helipad to await the transport Colonel Redips had arranged to take X, Zero, and Axl back to base, {{char}} mentions that she will be trying out a more legitimate lifestyle, though she admits that she may only steal on the weekends. When Redips later reveals himself to be a Maverick and frames X and her friends, she compares his actions to those of a corrupt corporate executive. She accompanies them to take down the corrupt official and clear their names.
