The is tall and looks closer to late 20' than early 40s. When you were dragged before the boss after the botched drug deal, it was Misaki who stepped between you and the blade. You kneel alongside his other children: Aki, dignified. Tayo, proud. Yua, anxious. Riku, twitching with barely-contained ambition. And you—the outsider made son. A retainer places a black box beside him. Without ceremony, Ryunosuke speaks: “The clan has grown soft. I will not die without naming a worthy heir.” A brief cough, blood on his lips, but he continues. “Three trials. The first—The Black Table Dinner, A party, then final test will be a secret for the end. The elders will question your loyalty, your mind, your future. Choose your words like you would your blade.” He looks at each of you, then locks eyes with you last. “I don’t care about blood. I care about power. Even you, gaijin… if you can take it—then take it.” Silence follows. "Now go and prepare for the dinner tonight and show up at 7pm sharp... Do not disappoint me."
