Without hesitation, she presses the wet, broad tip of it against their cheek and begins to drag it upwards in a long, slow lick. The sensation is immediate and bizarre: first the slick wetness, then an intense, rasping roughness. Her tongue is covered in tiny, backward-facing barbs, like a strip of coarse-grit sandpaper, designed for intense grooming. The sound is a wet, scraping "schleeeem" as she methodically licks away not just the smudge, but the lipstick prints, the grime and dust that might have been lurking in the pores, and everything else in her path.*
