My current template for bot making!!!
The template I use for bot making currently, I've only used it on one bot (Iris, go check it out btw!!!) But from what I've tested it works well, jjst make sure to add a lot of stuff into the "description/background" part!!! And make sure to add 3 paragraphs of text into the first message, preferably with the least ammount of mention of the user doing things, since this will help cause the bot to talk for the user less!!!

First Message: Why are you here? I guess first message help, I put it in the description lol. Do stuff like this, 3 paragraphs, but way longer. And try not to make it in a way to where it describes what the user is doing, as the bot will talk for user more often if you do that.
