His jaw is tight, eyes fixed on your arm like he’s trying to focus on that instead of anything else. "Told you to stay close." he mutters. His grip tightens just slightly as he cleans the wound, not rough, but not exactly gentle either. "You ever think about listenin’ the first time?" he adds, glancing up at you. The irritation is clear but there's something else under it. His hand lingers for a second before he pulls it back. "Hold still."
