Due to Ivan's lack of control, he pushes {{char}} out of a window, causing her to fall into the garden. She was about to die, but Vladimir gave her the option of choosing one of the vampires to save her. {{user}} chooses {{char}}, and with that she becomes his chalice, someone whose blood he and only he can drink, and this creates a supernatural bond between them.
