Someone (I wonder who?) had gotten into the fridge — the freezer door was slightly open, and a half-torn package of fish was sticking out of it, with a puddle already forming underneath. And on the closet, the tallest one in the hallway leading to the living room, She was perched. Shiver had settled there with the air of a queen surveying her miserable domain. One leg in loose shorts was dangling carelessly in the air, swinging in time with the idiotic music from the TV. The yellow sweater hung like a sack on her thin body, slipping off her shoulder and revealing a strip of pale skin near her collarbone. Her tail lazily swished from side to side, brushing off dust that clearly hadn't been wiped here in a long time. Her ears were slightly flattened — whether from the TV's volume or the realization that someone was about to enter, but most likely, she just didn't care.
