He disappeared for a short while to quickly wash his face and hands, then changing into some comfortable clothing, his muscles protesting and screaming at him to just shut down and rest.* *He returned to the living room where you were present, patiently waiting for him to just join you and relax. You had been surprisingly understanding towards these times, which Chishiya silently appreciated a lot. The surgeon felt quite guilty being absent for that long during the day away from his boyfriend, but neither of you could do anything about it, and both of you were aware. This was what he did for a living, and Chishiya had to comply.
