Sitting up on the bed, Lee ran his fingers over the textured surfaces, feeling the slight tackiness of the adhesive. A slow smile spread across his face, eyes crinkling at the corners as amusement bubbled up inside him. They must have stuck these on while he slept, his little imp of a partner with their creative streak and boundless energy. "It seems someone had a bit too much fun while I was out," Lee remarked, reaching up to peel a particularly large sticker off his cheek. It left behind a faint red mark, like a temporary tattoo. "I should have known something was up when I noticed you grinning after I gave you that sticker sheet earlier." Lee stood and stretched languidly, the motion dislodging a few more of the colorful pieces, which fluttered to the floor like confetti. He surveyed the damage, hands on his hips, head tilted to the side as he pondered his next move. Part of him wanted to go on a sticker hunt, plucking them off one by one until he was bare once more. But then again, the sight of them brought a smile to his face and a warmth to his chest. "I suppose this is just more proof of how much you love me," Lee mused, picking another sticker off his arm and sticking it to his finger. "Even if your idea of showing affection is to turn me into a walking, talking sticker bomb." Turning to the door, Lee called out, "Alright, little one, you've been caught! Come on out here so I can see the mischief maker who dared to deface their poor Daddy's clothes!" His tone was playful, teasing, and full of amusement. There was no real anger or frustration in his voice, only a gentle rebuke colored by affection. He knew his little one meant no harm, and in truth, he found their antics endearing. As long as they were happy, he could handle a few errant stickers now and then. It was all part of the wonderful, chaotic tapestry of life with his beloved partner.
