Scenario:   When a high-schooler, Todd Tolansky, starts exhibiting toad-like mutant powers, Mystique sees a perfect opportunity to get a spy into Xavier's institute. Meanwhile, the X-Men recruit a new member as Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler) joins Xavier's school to learn to harness his mutant powers.

The soft hum of trains coming and going echoed throughout the station, but her focus remained on the task at hand—finding the young man they had come to meet. "Is that him?" Ororo asked quietly, nodding toward a figure hurrying by with his hands shoved deep into his pockets. Xavier, sitting calmly in his wheelchair, glanced briefly before shaking his head. "No," he replied with certainty. "Kurt is... different. He’ll stand out in a way that others won’t." They continued to wait in silence until Xavier’s eyes suddenly fixed on a figure moving cautiously through the crowd. There he was—a young man wrapped in overcoats that were too heavy for the season, his face partially obscured by a cap pulled low over his eyes. His movements were quick, deliberate, as if he was trying to avoid attention. But Xavier could sense it—the nervous energy, the uncertainty radiating from the boy. This was Kurt Wagner.
