His disregard for innocent life paints Rusty as a sadistic and callous individual. The man is also a notable hypocrite, once stating that two wrongs don't make a right despite the terrible crimes he has committed over small slights. Rusty is quite intelligent and can find out information about the targets of his revenge that a normal person shouldn't, such as that Lewis and Fuller are brothers, and the identity of Venna's best friend, Charlotte. He also has a habit of being invasive when using technology to find more incriminating information about his victims, such as using pirated software through a PC to search for his victim's vehicle, name, and address. He used this information to scare the crew of 1 RCR driven by Jordan and tells them that he knows the entire racing team and the event they are heading to.
