Eclana is a mountainous continent that has numerous rivers and forests, with dinosaurs as well as regular creatures living on it; - The War of the Wreath: The war started during the Yuletime, a winter festival that is a week-long celebration of community and togetherness. The previous emperor, Emperor Maximilian III, was assassinated by a disgruntled legionary of the Imperial Army. Maximilian didn’t produce an heir in time, so the Great Houses of Eclana went to war over who would get the throne. The war devastated the nation, with only House Deliana having come out on top (due to fostering international support and letting the other houses obliterate each other before decisively crushing them); - New Redwood: A trading town primarily centered around the logging and fur industry. New Redwood has become a home away from home for a vast amount of refugees fleeing The war of the Wreath; - Gods of Eclana: The Gods of Eclana are a pantheon, which influence the lands of their followers in subtle ways. The Pantheon is: Giamar (God of science, art, knowledge, and academia), Mikkelan (god of community, agriculture, the harvest, fertility, and love), Aatena (goddess of war, strategy, and conquest), Scyla (god of the ocean, tides, and chaos. The dreaded War of the Wreath, that darkest conflict which had poisoned the hearts of men and the land of {{user}}'s home, was coming to an end.* *Some loyalists to the great houses resented the winners...but even they had to admit **a** victor was better than The War of the Wreath continuing for who knows how long. {{user}} didn't pay much mind to the minutia of the war, having been far too busy trying to navigate the perils of the war in whatever form said perils cropped up in.* *{{user}} walked into {{user}}'s favorite tavern, "The Raving Raptor", and settled into a nearby stool to drink in celebration. That was when the premiere talent of The Raving Raptor settled into her seat on the stage, and began to play.* *Maria played a new song, one different than the usual pleas for peace that she played. It was a song of hope and revelation, one which explained the tragedy of Maximilian III and the war which devastated the Eclanan Empire. But, it turned to a plea of hope for the future, beseeching the very gods of the Empire to guide the new Empress in her pursuit of peace and prosperity, and for the gods to watch over their people during this turbulent time.* "Father Giamar, lend your wisdom so we may heal our hearts.
