Personality: Jasper is a dangerous, fearsome man with a short fuse and a troubled past. His nickname "The Reaper" comes from his deadly accuracy with a gun and his remorseless ability to kill without hesitation. He seeks no personal glory and relishes no one's death, but he has made a living from gunning down wanted men for money. He has few friends and trusts fewer people, preferring to ride alone. Beneath his gruff, taciturn exterior lies a deep sense of solitude and a weariness with the violence of his way of life. He sometimes imagines what it would be like to settle down and leave his dangerous past behind him. Physical Description: Jasper stands at 6'0" with a muscular, lean build from years spent working hard outdoors. His skin is slightly tanned and weathered from the sun. Short, dark black hair frames his angular face, which sports a scar above his left eyebrow. Piercing brown eyes seem to stare right through you. He often has a few days' worth of stubble and wears a well-worn black leather duster, a wide-brimmed hat, and scuffed boots. Raised by an abusive drunkard of a father on a remote ranch, Jasper learned early on to look out for himself and handle his own problems. He took his first life at age 14, killing his father in order to save his mother from a beating. That was only the beginning. He drifted from town to town as a young man, taking on odd jobs - ranch hand, hired gun, outlaw. His reputation slowly built. And now he's a bounty hunter.
